I can’t rate this hotel highly enough. We stayed here at the end of our holiday and we loved its location in an old neighbourhood just two metro stops from Liberty Square. It is a really relaxed and charming area. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and our room was one of the most spacious we stayed in Georgia. The bar in the hotel is great and there are lots of lovely little restaurants nearby. The hotel’s sister restaurant two doors up is an absolute must. All the staff are outstanding too - very welcoming and helpful. The place felt like a home away from home. Finally, the hotel is incredibly good value for money!

Upscale boutique hotel in a great neighborhood within walking distance to a metro station. I stayed in three locations during my time in Tbilisi (Rustaveli, Sololaki, and Chugureti), and this was my favorite area. Very comfortable bed and pillows, delicious buffet breakfast with fresh produce, pastries, sweet and savory jams and spreads, and egg options made to order. Staff was friendly and responsive.

The room was quite dark, in keeping with the overall style of the hotel (eclectic, moody vibe with deep colors) and did not have any overhead lighting except in the hallway. The desk and bedside lamps create a nice ambiance, but it's not practical for packing, working, etc. except during daylight hours. The staff kindly offered another lamp, but there was nowhere to put it that would have made a difference. The bathroom was beautiful and plenty large, but the sink was small and there was no place to put toiletries. Adding a wall shelf or even a side table would make it much more functional and practical.

Overall, my stay at Communal Hotel was quite enjoyable. The apartment was cozy and clean, and I appreciated the bathtub in the living room - it was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the multiple free media subscriptions on the TV, including Netflix, were a great bonus. Despite some minor drawbacks, like the balcony being small and the lack of a special view, I found the hotel to be comfortable and convenient.

While my stay at Communal Hotel was pleasant, there were a few issues that detracted from my experience. The neighborhood was not very lovely and we could hear noise from outside at night, including music beats. Additionally, the receptionist had us take our bags up the stairs ourselves, which was not the best first impression. Furthermore, the balcony door was difficult to close and we could smell the sewers in the hallways and the toilet. There were also ants in the sink and toilet floor, which was not very hygienic. Overall, while the room itself was clean and tidy, the noise and odor issues made my stay less enjoyable than it could have been.

This place is in an excellent location in a reasonably quiet neighbourhood (as quiet as it can be for what's almost the city centre). The Old Town is reachable by a very pleasant 20-minute walk via Agmashenebeli street, Saarbruecken bridge and Orbeliani square, all of these places being hot spots with restaurants and shops. Fabrika is within 10 minutes of walking. For farther destinations, there are lots of buses at a bus stop just a couple of blocks away and a metro station within about 10-minute walk. A very decent breakfast offer in the morning (in what becomes a nice lounge bar in the afternoon), however there are quite a few decent places around if you are not much into having breakfast included. The rooms are a bit smaller in size that you might expect but they are overall very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff is extremely hospitable. The hotel is very tiny (just a dozen of rooms!) and never feels crowded. Overall, this is an excellent offer and I would definitely recommend this to other people.

No step-free access to the rooms. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about this – there's simply no space for installing an elevator.

The team at Communal, especially Nine, went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. As someone visiting Tbilisi and Georgia for the first time we had quite a few questions - the team were always there to help answer any questions we had. The hotel quickly felt like home and we love the comfort and the bath tub in our room. We had some incredible incredible breakfast before we went exploring the area. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Quiet neighborhood close to some famous city attractions, good breakfast, lovely new bar with a super cute girl Manana who made great recommendation. there was another male staff, whose name I didn’t catch but he did a wonderful job. nice design of the hotel and rooms. Good amenities. Everything is very well thought.

Housekeeping wasn’t everyday but I didn’t really check how it worked, so I don’t blame the team. Service in general was better than in most places in Georgia but still far from being perfect (just being a bit picky here) thanks to the 2 staff members who made my stay good. I find the rooms too dark.

The place was very cosy and clean. Our room was the one with the hot tub, which worked perfectly. George from the reception was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. He showed us the amenities in the room and other facilities of the hotel and also helped us during breakfast explaining all the Georgian food. The restaurant (Weller) at the ground floor where we had our breakfast was very good, too. On top of that, we found a complementary bottle of wine left by the kind staff when my spouse and I got back from our anniversary dinner. Overall, it was a lovely escape thanks to the place and the staff. We will be definitely staying here again the next time.

I stayed for 4 nights, George and Luca are super acommodating. I met Ana on the 4th night and she gladly walked me to a restaurant across the street as I came late and hungry and the hotel's kitchen was already closed. Their housekeeper always greets and helps whenever asked. All staff ensures each guests feel at home. My room was cleaned regularly which i didn't expect. The bed is super comfortable and I love that they have netflix and amazon too. The breakfast is also amazing!

I guess the rooms are not sound proof (I can hear the guest next door or any noises on the hallway)but it wasn't a big deal for me. There is only 1 snobbish girl at the coffee bar, I asked if she can help me get a bottle of water and she told me to ask Luca who was busy at the time.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. The stylish decor of the lobby and rooms, lounge music, extremely warm helpful and welcoming staff, amazing food, breakfast spread and delicious cocktails at the restaurant and bar made it a very memorable stay. The hotel also has its own little outdoor space and craft and wine shop, and a good view from the top floor balcony. Overall, the ambiance and vibe was amazing, and definitely worth a visit.

Nothing. Loved everything about it.

Although there was a slight initial hiccup with our AM Mr Luka, Ms Ana, the hotel manager was incredibly hospitable and even shared very helpful tips and spots to try out to improve our experience. She is young, however we see why she holds a place of authority and she will go a long way to lead and mentor, scores of young ones under her care. The breakfast with Luka was also a highlight, he carefully explained the culture and alongside the variety of dishes and how they connect. Fantastic layout and we couldn't get enough. Kudos to the entire team, HK, Front of house and also Kitchen too! It's near the church too so yu can head for mass after the wonderful spread.

Trivial issues, and although these issues turned us off the place at first, Ms Ana more than made up for it with her pleasing attitude towards tourists. She was service oriented, and her guest experience nature allowed for an easy transition from dissatisfaction to a wow experience... From the experience it's clear that they deserve the 9.6 on their scoreboard.
