very convenient location in the city centre. be careful if you are driving to the hotel with a satnav, the front of the hotel is on a pedestrian street. Good secure underground parking is available. the hotel is quiet and clean. the single beds are very narrow, but comfortable enough. Breakfast is good quality, but not such good value for money.

The first man who greeted us was incredibly friendly! He made us feel so welcomed! The other workers were less friendly. The breakfast cost was pretty high for a family of 6. We ate breakfast one morning, and the food was very nice with a good variety. But the floor was incredibly sticky. Our rooms were very nice and we were SO happy to be next to each other. (2 parents and 4 kids, so it was helpful to be next door rooms.) The only bad thing about the room was that our bathroom (maybe 304?) was very smelly. It seems that the shower drain did not seal, so it seemed as if sewer smells were coming up into the bathroom. It was not pleasant. Also, the door of the shower could have been cleaned more around the edges. It had a lot of mildew which I wiped off myself.

Oops, all my good and and bad was together in the last message.

The hotel is located in the old city and still relatively close to the train station nad bus services. I attended a conference at C.A.R.L. in Aachen, and this location was the best possible fit between the train station, the conference venue, and the downtown. Everything was reachable on foot, but I could still take a bus for a couple of stops to make it easier. In my case, the hotel was great value for money: about 70Euro per night. I was positively surprised by the size of the room and the quality of the furniture/bathroom. Everything was decent and didn't look cheap. The internet was good, the sound isolation was OK. Overall, I had a great stay

without opening the window, the air was a bit stuffy. I didn't want to have my towels changed every day, so I hung them on hooks. But they were changed every day anyway. Then why all the ads about caring for nature on the walls?

A very simple but clean hotel, with helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money if you're not looking for "The Ritz". The rooms are small but clean and also very calm. We didn't hear a beep from rooms next door. The staff was also very helpful as we changed the room to overlook the other side of the property, and as we also decided to take a second room in the middle of our stay to give ourselves some more space. The location is very good to visit the historical centre of Aachen, just a 5-minute walk. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. But all in all: simple, friendly, clean, functional and very well located!

There was no bar or café at the property, only a vending machine which we didn't manage to make work.. It would be great if in the evening there was a place where you can sit down for a beer or coffee etc. Perhaps the breakfast area could be turned into a café / bar in the evening??

Excellent service as usual ( we have already stayed 3 or 4 times in this hotel and hope to come back); very nice staff at reception, very polite and helpful. We received an early check-in which was highly appreciated. Excellent contact on the phone as well before our arrival. Rooms were very clean and serviced every day. The hotel is situated in the centre of Aachen at a walking distance to the train station, the bus terminal, shops, restaurant and bars. The famous Thermes of Aachen (spa complex) are situated at a walking distance as well. Good price /quality ratio. I would highly recommend the place.

The hotel has many tv channels, almost all in German. Some more channels in English would be highly appreciated. And if possible, some in French and Dutch as the hotel is situated a few miles from the Dutch and Belgian borders. Apart from that the rest is perfect

This is a good hotel to spend the entire vacation. The hotel is very beautiful, and the staff are very kind. The hotel is also very clean, and the rooms are clean as well. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Aachen.

I have a feeling that they are not replacing the bed sheets, but I'm not sure about it.

I stayed in a single bed room. The room and the bathroom were big. Essential but with all the space, and facility you need. Very clean and bright. Ithe location is perfect.

The bed was too close to the window. Basically next to it. If you have dust allergy is not the best solution. I had the check out at 12:00. The staff went to check if I was in the room twice between 9 and 11:30. I understand they do not have much time for the cleaning of the rooms, but maybe they should change the check out policy, right now you just leave the hotel and that's it. Basically they do not know if you leave the hotel.

I am very happy with my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location is perfect, especially when you come for a short time. All main historical sightseeings are in the walkable distance, as well restaurants for dinner and shopping area, if necessary.

The view was to the backyard. Not that critical when you stay just for one night. However, if you stay longer would be nice to have a better view. I understand, that the orientation of the building will provide backward view, so perhaps for the one night stay its applicable.

Amazing location right in the centre. Everything you'll want to visit is within walking distance from the hotel. We had a triple room and it was way more spacious than I thought it would be! Very nice and clean bathroom and bedding. Really above my expectations especially for the price. Also, we only learned afterwards but online/remote check-in is available so look into that.

The rooms could have been a bit heated before. Although I understand trying to cut back on costs, I would lie if I said we were not a bit cold. We cranked the AC up to 28 degrees but that just made the air really dry.

such a good location, very clean . this idea with password lock is very good, you don’t need to worry that you will loose a card or key from the room.

cleaning staff was really annoying. we are a young couple who has a 1.5 year old child, I searched for a hotel with late check out, 12 o’clock was perfect for us. finally we had a weekend for two of us and our big wish was to sleep long in the morning 😀 But the room service disturb us 2 times for the morning! I understand that she needs to do her work and clean the room, but guys, maybe you will give them list with rooms who checked out already? she waked us up before our alarm, come on we have it every day at home 😀 For this really dislike.
