Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I was checked in, in about 30 seconds. The room is way more spacious than you would think. The beds in the single room are 4ft, so plenty of room and very comfortable. The room was cleaned to an impeccable standard. No bar but the vending machine has beers and glasses beside. The water dispenser is something every hotel should incorporate, a fantastic idea. The coffee machine has great coffee. The windows are almost completely sound proof. I had a road facing room and not a single noise came through. If you are a solo traveller that doesn't care for the frills, this place is for you!

No faults

The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. What I really liked was the fact that you can go to the next door bakery and have breakfast in the hotel, where you have tables set up, coffe machine, water machine and all other amenities you need for breakfast (the coffe is free for as much as you like). The internet is perfect. The hotel is very close to the city center and also the Thermes (which I would highly recomend). Overall our stay was great, and would definitely come back next time we plan a trip to Aachen :)

There was a blind WiFi spot in the "breakfast corner", but for us that wasn't an issue at all as the intetnet in the room itself was perfect, just think it's good to mention.

Property is very conveniently located if you want to explore the city center or visit the local Therme. Breakfast is not included however bakery is next door and the hotel is equipped with dedicated sitting where you can eat your breakfast from the bakery( they provide cutlery and free coffee and water are available)

In case you like to have a Swedish buffet kind of breakfast unfortunately this will not be possible( for us it was not a problem to go to the bakery next door and also it was ok since we could use the cutlery from the hotel)

Easy to find hotel in a good neighborhood just outside the city center. Parking at Parkhaus Eurogress garage just around the corner, couple mins walk. 24 hrs was 12€ cash. Excellent hotel for nearby city center. Friendly staff, easy check in, safe area. Easy 10-15 minute walk to city center for Christmas Markets or the Aachen Dom. Very clean and spacious room with good lighting, extra blankets, ac, welcome bottle of water & candies. Comfortable beds & pillows. Multiple electrical outlets. Bathroom is well lit with an extendable mirror to view yourself or the back of your head. Hot water in the shower works well & very good ventilation. Complimentary tea & coffee bar in the lobby. Bakery/ cafe next door. Normal city traffic noise.

Perfect stay in Aachen without being in the city center.

The location of the hotel is quite ideal, both for those who enjoy the bustle of Aachen's city life (you can take a stroll from the hotel to the heart of the city, through its many narrow alleys and cobblestone streets, in about 15 minutes, or hop on a bus to whatever destination in Aachen you please) and for those who prefer the more quite surroundings of the Stadtpark (just around the corner of the hotel) or the Lousberg (highly recommended for its panoramic views). What's more: the personnel is very friendly, helpful and in good spirits, which is always indicative of a proper hotel. The hotel in its entirety is very clean and well kept; something you'll immediately notice upon arrival. This hotel provides the ideal base for planning your excursions both in and around Aachen, and I'll happily recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting one of Germany's oldest and most historic cities.

Quick and easy check-in and check-out. Friendly, helpful, cheerful personnel, welcoming attitude, good customer care. Free coffee and tea and tables to sit in the canteen area. No breakfast served, but a bakery is just around the corner. Convenient location, easy to come with a car; walking distance from the central station. There are a number of restaurants in that intersection; shopping area and city center are 5 - 10 min. walk away. Rooms are clean, quiet, equipped with good decent quality furniture. Stayed 2 times in this hotel with very positive experience.

Very friendly lady at the reception (dark brown hair)! Nice, spacious and clean room, on the ground floor, kind of annex building at the back of the hotel. We had the rear junior suite (608) which also had a terrace with chairs. Even a small kitchen (microwave, sink, hob, kettle, fridge, number of pans, cutlery and plates) and a spacious bathroom with bubble bath. There are a number of drinks in the fridge, free of charge. Big telly you can move to either watch from the lounge area or from the comfort of the double bed. There are outdoor shutters on all windows accessible by switches inside. There were also two single beds hidden away in the wardrobes. Complementary tea, coffee (nice!) and water behind the reception, 24/7. There's also a vending machine with candy bars and soda drinks. Dogs are welcome (10 euros per night).

Hotel wise there were NO disappointments at all!! We did leave a day sooner, purely cos the city of Aachen was too much of a culture shock and not the city trip we had hoped for as the last part of our holiday. There are SO many ppl living on the streets! Addicts with very visible mental and physical decline. They are everywhere. Men and women. Lots are begging. I'm used to Rotterdam and lived in Amsterdam. Aachen is on a completely different level. We weren't bothered by anyone directly , but I didn't feel safe.

The location is excellent mind. And as it's above a beautiful cocktail bar....sure why wouldn't you. Good value for money. And very friendly staff.

Wobbly floors due to the age of the building with very little room to walk around the end of the bed. Location and cocktail bars will always bring a certain amount of noise in the early hours of the morning.

Cozy, clean and comfortable hotel. Very good location, just a few steps from the main sights and shopping area. Beds firm. Very friendly staff. a good choice!

All was fine. For future travelers: 1) Parking is about 300 m away in a public garage (“Eurogress”), at EUR 12 per night. 2) Breakfast not provided by hotel, but a bakery is next door and rolls can be eaten in the lobby seating area with coffee and tea from the hotel bar. So it all worked out well.
