The hotel itself was good and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room we had was quite small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast on offer was absolutely amazing, and it had the biggest choice we've ever experienced. Room had a mini fridge for putting your own drinks in, and the bathroom was separate from the toilet, which was good. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed.

Location - we've never been to Aachen before, but I didn't find the location particularly safe or nice, so we quickly found something for the kid's dinner and rushed back to the hotel. Parking was a huge public car park bellow the hotel and it was an extra 14Euros, which wasn't mentioned anywhere when we booked. The pillows provides were small and uncomfortable, luckily we always travel with our own

The staff was very nice, very clean premises, nice scent in the hotel, quiet (also in the night even if next to a road). Breakfast sufficient. Enough of warm meals (rather modest choice of vegetables, which we personally did not mind). The hotel restaurant had very delicious meal! Close to the centre and spa.

-When leaving, our parking card validated by the reception did not work. As we did not manage to contact anyone in the parking garage (Sunday morning) for around 10 minutes, we went back to the reception. At the reception, prior to issuing a new card, we were questioned if we tried to call everyone and received non-sense explanations of why the card did not work. It is not a big deal that the technologies did not work, but as a customer, I prefer to solve an issue swiftly without the “bla-bla” around, particularly when we kept losing the time.

We stayed over for one night during our Europen holiday. Modern hotel, very clean and we were happy with the rooms. We had two twin rooms next to each other. They had car parking available under the hotel, was extra but wasn't too expensive (14 euro per day). We didn't try breakfast at the hotel as there were good bakeries nearby serving fresh German pastries and breads.

We had a great welcome from friendly and efficient staff. The facilities are very good and location is quite convenient, within walking distance to main attractions such as city center and cathedral as well as park and thermal center. Breakfast was great. There is a kid area where little ones enjoyed a bit of play and reading time. Parking underneath is absolutely convenient and inexpensive.

Breakfast is a bit pricey. There was lots of noise from ambulances during the night.

They provide kids corner, stroller, and the breakfast was various and delicious. Location is in central. There's a halal pizza nearby the parking and so cheap n so delicious.

We were there on Sunday and had a walk, The neighbourhood area feels not safe. Many homeless people and the stores mostly closed on Sundays. The blanket was too thin while the heater was not really warm.

Located conveniently close to town centre and easy access from the autobahn (motorway). Locked parking and comfy beds for 4 of us. Left very early so could not try the breakfast.

For some reason youtube and phone cast is disabled on the tv which would have been perfect to keep 2 children occupied and quiet. :) Missing usb / wireless charging points.

The staff were very helpful and cooperative. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help our stay be more comfortable. Unfortunately stayed only for a day, but will definitely come back to stay here on our next visit..

A suggestion to improve on the 'Muffligegeruch' on the carpets leading towards the rooms. It

Very good central location being just a short walk to the cathedral. Well appointed and comfortable room. Helpfull and polite staff. Underground parking.

If travelling by car (motorcycles are free) be aware that an environmental tax is payable in advance when driving in the area.

Well located not far from station and university quarter and near a spa in a garden and short stroll to old town / town centre, shopping and restaurants. Well managed hotel, staff very friendly.

Cost of breakfast, smaller, inexpensive options would be nice.

Novotel hotel is a great choice when visiting Aachen. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff is helpful and very sympathetic. The hotel is situated in a 10 minutes walk from the historic city centre.

The breakfast was quite expensive - it's possible to have breakfast anywhere near at a café for a much smaller amount of money.
