Lovely stay at the hotel! Reception staff were helpful and nothing was too much! The breakfast team were very efficient and the quality and variety of breakfast was brilliant! The cleaner was pleasant and worked very hard. Had some great evenings in the Elephant Bar and on the Terrace with Peter and his team, who are a credit to the hotel team taking very busy nights in their stride. They still provided excellent service despite a wedding, concert guests from the park and a Lillet promotion! Overall, another excellent stay at the Quellenhof.

The hotel was built with a style. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, common areas are very nice too. But apart from the nice building, which starts to be worn out, other services are limited. On positive side rooms were quiet, pillows were comfortably soft. Breakfast was very good.

We had two rooms, both on the first floor and were bit worn out /e.g. the carpet, worn out bed on one side, broken hose in the shower etc./ The spa is sauna and cold swimming pool only. There are no additional services - there is no minibar and there is no room service which I did expect in this type of a hotel.

Friendliness of staff, spacious room and corridors, small entrance room so child slept in a separate room from us. Great spa even with a kid along for swimming. Airco was working well and helped us to keep heads cool and sleep. Walking distance from centre was great too.

Maybe too little vegetable options for breakfast, only there as a garnish for other parts or as filler for the omelettes. Still would have been nice just on a sandwich. Also suddenly our bathrobes were gone and no new ones were placed in return, tricky to go to the spa area as easily. Underwater bench is hard to spot and hurt my knee badly smashing it against it.

The bed was a really good size and very comfortable and it was great to have coffee in the room. We enjoyed the pool and there was a lot of choice at breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - we appreciated being able to leave our bags so we could walk around town and then getting help with calling a taxi.

There could be clearer instructions about where the pool is and how it all works (e.g. you can pick up towels on the way but we could only get locker keys from the main reception). Some people had bathrobes and slippers - we didn't, which is fine (we only paid for the cheapest room) but the difference was a bit disconcerting (e.g. should we get changed for the pool on our room?). It would be nice to have tea and milk on the room, as well as coffee (I know you can ask - but why not just have it there?). All in all, it was great - these are things which would just make it better!

The nice and polite attitude of the Front Desk Staff, particularly the kind attention of Mr. Joscha Kranz. As well the always nice attitude from the Restaurant and Bar Staff. The direct access from the room to the spa.

The atmosphere of the Restaurant/Bistro for dinner. It is good for breakfasts but for dinner it would be nice to create some nicer atmosphere. The food was delicious and nice Staff, so why not make it a beautiful room as well or why not serve dinner in the large room beside the bar to give it a more pleasant experience to guests?   About the SPA, relaxing time was also one of the reasons to go back to this beautiful hotel... we had some treatments but it's a pity that some were canceled because Staff shortage. Pity as well that, apart from a very nice Italian assistant that could do it in English, it wasn't possible to communicate properly with masseuses because they don't speak and don't understand any English.

The staff of the hotel, the Bistro and the Spa where incredibly nice and helpful at all times. They made our stay very easy (including the staff in reception, who kindly helped us with some taxi issues) The hotel is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing, so it was ideal for a couple-getaway :)

The rooms are connected to other rooms via an internal door. This was rather inconvenient, because we could hear the guests that were in the room next to us as if they were in our own room. We had to talk to them at night, so as to be able to sleep well, which was a bit uncomfortable to do.

The room was very spacious, the decor wasn't the upgraded room, but still pleasant and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was splendid, a wonderful range to choose from, and a chef on hand to freshly prepare cooked food. The atmosphere was relaxed, with outdoor and indoor seating. We really took our time and did not feel under pressure to finish up and leave.

It was after the spa staff had left when we went for a swim, and there was no explanation on entering the spa area. Maybe a little notice to the guests on the reception area would be useful. We actually did not know our robes and slippers for the spa were in the wardrobe in our room. We found out they are no longer left on your bed, since covid, rather in a draw inside the wardrobe.

It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. We travelled with our dog and enjoyed the possibility to use the nearby park for walks. The room was very spacious and quiet. The staff across the hotel were all very helpful and very friendly. Really enjoyed this.

It get the feeling that somebody started a savings activity. No slippers in the room to go to the SPA area. No towels in the sauna area and the ice cube facility is not working. You have to walk back to the entrance of the SPA area to get a new towel. The similar experience you get in the breakfast room. The view members of staff have to do everything. It just provides an odd feeling for such a fantastic hotel and building.

Lovely room and surroundings. Excellent service from staff from start to finish! Reception staff very efficient and helpful! Elephant Bar staff, Peter and his Team were exceptional and the evenings spent in the bar were very enjoyable- lovely atmosphere and service even when very busy! Breakfast food and staff were excellent! Nothing too much trouble- omelettes and homemade banana bread were delicious. They all made my birthday a special occasion Loved it all ! A great stay!

the place is magic. the Elefant Bar is gorgeous, the restaurant with it high ceilings and atmosphere just grand. the bathrooms are classy and have large windows with a view on a beautiful park. the beds are super comfortable. personell is very polite. the breakfast is stunning with a life cook preparing anything you like. the selection of cold cuts, cheese. real croissants real Paris style. it’s a grand lady. she could be in London, Paris or Berlin. it’s the gem of Aachen
