Ideal location which is why I booked it. Only about 300m from the station entrance and very nearly on the same level, just a gentle slope. The room was excellent with a clean bathroom and modern fittings.

It is only a small thing but I needed a reference from the Hotel to be able to book in on the automated check-in machine and I could not see that on my booking confirmation. I don't really know if that is down to the hotel or booking.com but there was another customer ahead of me having the same problem. It was easily resolved by a helpful lady reached via the contact number provided.

The hotel has a great location; the automated check-in machine is fun! The 24-hour hotline is very helpful and solves all my questions. From other reviews, I saw complain about party and noise. I was expecting the sound proof quality to be bad, but luckily the neighborhood of the night I spent is very quiet.

The reservation code for the automated check-in machine was not sent to me in advance, so I had to call the hotel hotline to get it.

Space in twin room was generous though the bathroom/toilet was tight. Beds had good mattresses. Light and airy. Location near station was great. Walking distance to town centre. Free Wi-Fi was good and worked well.

Light in bathroom was too dull. Needs a brighter bulb. One bulb in bedroom was out. No plug in sink, which meant running the water more than is necessary. e.g. for wet shaving.

Clean room, comfortable bed, good location (near the train station and the city center), helpful staff— especially the neighboring restaurant staff helped me proceed with the automatic checkin.

Just me, not familiar with automatic checkin (no physical reception in place). But it was somehow fine with a phone number available to use in case.

Arrived very late (00:55) as the trains we travelled on were delayed. A bit disconcerting as I messaged the hotel to say we were going to be late, only to get an automated reply that “they didn’t guarantee check in after 01:00. In the event we arrived five minutes before the deadline, but this caused some anxiety. Check in was by machine “Hotel-o- mat” and there were no staff anywhere, but fortunately it worked smoothly and the quality of the room was surprisingly good, though basic.

I think more assurance that we could check in late when delayed through no fault of our own would have made us feel more relaxed about this hotel experience.

The on-screen check-in was rather laborious. Our shower screen was impossible to open and shut (Room 203) -- this could potentially have been a serious issue if someone staying on their own was trapped in the shower. It would have been useful to have had the option of two keys per twin room.

I liked the room, it is big and comfortable. As I would give a big like to the girl in the reception she is so nice and she helps in the moment. Sometimes reception is not available and not ready to help in other hotels.

I didn't like the location, I had a big bag and it was very tiring for me to moove to the location. I also didn't like the shower it looked like it was cleaned perfectly. The soap lools old, it doesn't smell or clean good.

For a short stay in a budget inner-city hotel, much better than I'd expected. From the outside, the hotel isn't inspiring, but inside the (self-check-in) front door everything was functional and clean. No staff - check in via automated key dispenser worked straight away. Room had a large window, opening onto area with trees and this was a bonus. Usually the safety features in hotels don't allow for full opening, but the weather was very hot, and we were grateful that we'd been given the choice. Fire escape routes were clearly marked and evident, both inside the building and outside, which is comforting. Bathroom facilities were small, clean and very well fitted-out, for the limited space. Other residents were a friendly mixture of back-packers, older travellers from all over the world, and young couples. I felt comfortable here.

Even though I wasn't expecting it - I was still disappointed that there were no coffee or tea making facilities, and no mini-bar to keep food cool. Nearest cafe was 250 metres away - at the main station, so an early morning tea, and last-thing-at-night coffee weren't possible. Stayed here with adult daughter - space at a premium, and single beds a bit too close together. Best suited to people who intend to go out exploring for most of the day.

Easy registration and check out. Room a little bit small. Cleaning lady was very polite and did exceptional job. Cleanliness was exceptional. Other staff I did not meet, so could not rate. Parking automate half of the time did not work. Generally trip was good if it would not be parking harassment. City government have to think how to make a city more tourist friendly and convenient for own people to use. It can not be headache for everybody.

Parking was crazy. There was no advertisement for daily, weekly or monthly parking tickets. Did not see any advertisements for tours and attractions in the hotel. Management can be more tourist oriented and make it easier if you come to the city first time. No flyers at the hotel with information, no map of the city with locals attractions to visit.

Clean and tidy functional room; clean hotel; very close to the main train station in Aachen. Although this is not a "manned" hotel, staff came to clean the room every day, although I declined this service as I was only on a short stay.

The 2 single bed mattresses were not comfortable as there was a dip where they joined - I expected 1 double bed mattress
