Air-conditioning, coffee bar at reception, the gym downstairs, and the general feel of the hotel was really positive

The breakfast was by far the worst breakfast I have ever had in Germany over 25 years, one or two slices of bacon or sausage, brought out from the kitchen at a time, almost an edible, huge flagons for juice and water, all near empty and had to be tilted on the outside to get anything out. Just a really poor selection and badly run so disappointing because the hotel otherwise was excellent 

Above and beyond in the facilites they provided. Free coffee and lovely sitting are near reception, they helped us by doing a lot of laundry for us and I discovered an amazing massage chair on the bottom floor in the gym area that was amazing on my tired muscles. We rented bikes for free from them and rode into forest parkland literally only minutes away from the hotel. It’s not walking distance into town but the number 2 tram is very close and and easy run into town.

I've stayed here many times, because it is fairly close to my family's residence in Haunsgtetten. In a residential neighborhood not far from two grocery stores. Many amenities on the property, including a fitness center and free bikes. Very extensive breakfast selection.

Not convenient to the train station. Have to take a street car and then walk. Breakfast is not included in the price. Have to use the window as a shelf for toiletries. Third bed was a futon.

Lovely unique style to the place. The deluxe double room was very pleasant and spacious, with a comfortable bed and good facilities (including Aircon which was needed in the heat!). Free bike hire and use of the coffee machine downstairs was a great addition. Overall, a great stay at Arthotel ANA Style Augsburg!

Reception staff were only really present in the mornings it seemed, which was no issue for us, but i saw many people locked out of the hotel with no one to check them in. The bike hire system was a first come-first-served basis, so you could not reserve a bike in advance - if someone had a key they could keep the bike as long as they wanted (fine if you're the one with the key, but not if you're without!)

Small hotel in small town. Off the beaten path - not near city center. Thus, very economical. We got one of the large rooms on the first floor, which was sparse but serviceable. Nice touch to have bikes available for free use. Extremely interesting cemetery across the road. Nice touch also to have water coolers to fill your bottle on every floor, as well as free coffee machine in lobby. Saunas, massage chair in gym, tanning bed, really little niceties here and there made it fun. Art scattered about also interesting, not very commercial feeling at all. Bargain.

Not enough parking really. Mainly German nationals on holiday, hit-or-miss to find an English speaking desk attendant. In fact, weird schedule for desk attendants - 10 a to 2 p one day, 8 a to 4 p the next day. Makes check-in difficult; if the desk is not staffed there is a sign on the door to call the sister hotel in town. Not easy.

Minimalism balanced the artistic atmosphere of the spaces. Big roof terrace, tasty breakfast, posibility to use hotel 24/7 for self check in after midnight and very quiet place…

It could be good to have bottle fridge in the rooms istead of automatic switching on of the switched off air conditioning unit ;).

In addition to tea and coffee at the reception, there's also ice cream which is nice. You can also rent a bike for free which is perfect if you don't want to walk or wait for the train.

The rooms aren't really sound proof so you can hear people talking and walking along the corridor. The bathroom was also a little small and the shower hose wasn't completely secured.

Everything was clean, comfortable and quiet.

We got a room with big windows facing the terrace. We felt really weird to draw the curtains, because everyone on the terrace would have been able to see everything in our room, so we always kept them shut. Also, the window was so big and low that, if we opened it horizontally, it could have been used to enter or exit the room through the terrace, which isn't a comforting thought. The AC did not cool the air at all.

Bathroom, AC and room size very good. Facilitries like snack bar, coffeee tea and water in the lobby excellent. Parking on the premises was great.

A minbar/fridge and coffee machine. More convenient points to charge devices are a must for modern-day travelers.

Price was very fair for a family with two young children. Near a tram station if needed. Breakfast was very good. Reception friendly and helpful. Massage chair was nice! Lobby good for coffee and snacks.

The bathroom, particularly the shower, was laughably small. No towel rack. It was not a major problem. Secondly, I was trapped outside the hotel and the front door ring bell got no response. Could that be fixed?
