I booked a single room, it was absolutely okay for 1 person. Reception ladies were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, 1 min walk from the bus stop of #16 & 19 (from Regensburg). 8EUR breakfast is decent. I wish there were a small mini-bar (fridge) in the room, that's the only thing I was missing :))

i guess my room didn't match the one I saw before booking. i had to travel to Regensburg every day and there are some limited times for the bus if you don't have your car you should consider it.

The hotel is located right in the old center of Bad Abbach, parking is conveniently located behind the hotel. The rooms are simple, but clean. Breakfast was fabulous, and staff is very friendly. Overall, great value for money. Would stay at the "Post" any time again.
The hotel does not have elevators. Not an issue for us, but worth being aware if you are less mobile.

Very friendly staff, showed great flexibility. Unfortunately our second planned stay had to be cancelled - no problem, no costs.
Our room was facing the church and the bells were quite loud (and they ring every quarter hour). Needs some getting used too.

Very friendly staff, in particular at breakfast and check out. Made us feel welcome. Very good value for money (Eg breakfast buffet including drinks Euro 10). Breakfast buffet was excellent and prepared with love for details. Our main room had AC, but there was a constant vibrating noise. The smaller room had none and was quite warm (heat wave).
No lift. Our room was on the third floor.

I could hear the neighbors in the room next door. The one morning I wanted to sleep in from driving through three countries, the cleaning lady starts banging stuff and vacuuming at 7:30. Seriously? And lastly, lucky for me I had bought a German phone to use in Europe, otherwise I'd still be standing at the front door freezing while waiting to get in.
