Hotel Rosi

My husband and I stayed at hotel Rosi for a week to visit our daughter who is studying at the University of Regensburg. The hotel is in a perfect location for accessing the old town. It’s around 15 minutes walk from the train and bus station. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bedding looked brand new. We were located at the rear of the hotel in a standard room which was quiet. Breakfast was a delight and the staff were friendly and courteous. If we visit Regensburg again we will definitely book hotel Rosi again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice family hotel on the border of the old city centrum. Parking is not included, but you can park a motorbike in the garage right behind the corner of the street. Locked and hidden, that is fine! The place is nice and staff friendly. You can park there for a while after you check out yourself and you can even store there a luggage in a small hotel room before you leave the city. So you can go for a walk to city center and then get beck, pickup your staff and sit on motorbike and ride. Room is a little bit smaller, but bathroom was sufficient and clean.

During the weekend, reception closes a little bit earlier (8pm). They ask you for a short notice that you come later then at 6 o'clock. But there is no problem to communicate later check-in.

Great breakfast. The location is great - if arriving by car as I was, the car park is around the corner - not far at all. The hotel road itself is very narrow and it seems quite a busy one getting through the area. Didn't hear traffic at all, my room faced a small lane. Lovely and quiet. Bed was very comfy, perfect for one. Would've liked teabags instead of coffee by the kettle in my room (black tea, not fruit tea).

No teabags to make a cuppa! I cannot drink fruit tea and that, along with coffee, was all that was available. I was too tired to go downstairs and across the road to the other hotel (the Rosi was unmanned on the day I arrived) for teabags!

Very nice people at the reception desk, room very comfortable and very importantly, very good A/C as it was a very hot day, spacious room including free water as a welcome. Also, excellent idea they have is to invite guests for a ''welcome drink'' on their first day. Breakfast was also excellent, plus the location is very central and also close to the train station.

I would only suggest to have fans or A/C in the breakfast room, otherwise you get some flies coming from the window, but this is small thing and would not keep me for coming back.

The hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was very nice, all the hotel staff was always smiling and very welcoming. They helped me out real quick when the reception was closed but I had left my keys in the room by mistake, with a very warm attitude although it was very late at night and the lady needed to come to the hotel just for me. The room was quite cozy, equipped with a small desk, wardrobe, safe, tv and bathroom with towels and shampoo. The room was even nicer than it looked on the pictures. The location is great, just around the corner from both main train station and center. The socket port right next to the bed was also a nice touch. The breakfast was exceptional. All in all, the hotel will be my top choice if I travel to Regensburg again.

Although it’s not the hotel’s fault, it would be fair to mention that it was very noisy after midnight because of a group of people at the time of my stay.

I will recommend this hotel if you are visiting Regensburg, everything was nice, and the location is excellent, not far away from the main station but also from the center, it is actually on the periphery of the old part of the city. Breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and has everything that you need. Personal is really nice and friendly,

Very practical location next to the train station, very friendly and helpful personnel, comfortable room.

Unfortunately, quite poor sound isolation of the windows in the room. Even though the room was facing a very small street, the conversations of people on the street and on floors below could all be heard inside the room with windows closed. Luckily it didn't last too long into the evening so I slept quite well in the end.

The location can’t get any better! Easy to reach by car, right at the edge of the pedestrian zone of the old town.. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean

They charged 10 euros extra for parking at the closely undercover car park. However the machine there does not really accept their tickets. So I paid another 8,50 euros. However they agreed to reimburse me upon receipt of the ticket. Fair enough!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and offered a welcome drink which we gladly accepted after our sweaty bike tour. Breakfast buffet was great although the room was too small to fit everyone and the air was kind of stifling. I felt a bit uncomfortable considering covid-19. Air-condition in our room worked perfectly though and wer slept great!

The room didn't seem too clean upon our arrival. Amenities are kind of outdated and look used with a few dents here and there. Stiffy air in the breakfast room.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, near the old center of the city. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was very very good, the room was very clean and the check-in/check out was with no issues at all. Also, the receptionist recommend us an excellent Bavarian Biergarten for the dinner and the dinner was delicious.

The pillows were kind of strange - they were like half-empty. But - that is just my personal preference.
