Hotel Luis

I stayed my friends and family in the summer of 2023 for a night. The place is very close to Regensburg Altstadt and hauptbahnof. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. We did not take breakfast but needed some milk for my toddler and they were happy to oblige. The room was in general was clean and property is baby pram friendly. The toiletries were provided and quite nice. The info in general on this website is quite accurate. What I personally loved alot was that there was a fan provided in the room which was quite necessary, useful and well appreciated!

Some minor points - - There’s no cupboard in the room - Toiletries do not include a body lotion - There was only one charging slot beside the bed so the person sleeping on the other side had to use the multi-plug provided in the room.

This friendly boutique hotel was very accommodating with a comfy bed, clean room and yummy breakfast. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. When our flight was delayed and we knew we would be arriving late, we contacted them and they provided detailed instructions for accessing our room after hours. This was very helpful and appreciated.

While it is located in a lovely residential neighborhood it is about a 10 minute walk from the altstadt. Not as convenient as we would have liked but walkable if you are able. Also, the bathroom is tiny and the elevator is also small. Our room faced a busy road which was somewhat noisy.

The staff were VERY helpful, the restaurant very tasteful and the outdoor patio area very quaint. Stayed in upper loft which sleeps 4, watch out for the beams in the walls. VERY unique, spacious and VERY comfortable. LOTS of room in suite. TVS in both rooms. Can't say enough of this hotel, EXCELLENT value for the price.

The elevators were small but tha'ts to be expected. HOnestly, it was great, one of the top 10 hotels I've stayed at, and I've travelled many places in the world.

- Location in a pretty neighborhood and proximity to the city centre - Decent breakfast (if you don't need to it vegan or gluten-free) - Vintage vibe - Cheap parking

- No toothbrush holder/cup/mug in the bathroom - Parking was a bit of stressful operation - front of the hotel was blocked by car and we had to quickly check at the reception and then park at the back of the hotel, it was a bit tight there - Would be nice to have window blinds in addition to the curtains to get more privacy, especially on the ground floor - Not enough space to store clothes and belongings

The place is great destination from the city center, quiet, just cars going by... 14mins to the Bridge. We tried to have breakfast at the hotel and also had one in the historical city. Both has some advantages. The beds are great, we had good sleep. The parking is for reasonable price.

A really lovely boutique hotel. It was our second visit - the first visit being in December 2018 for the xmas markets. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very well thought out and comfortable. Location is great.

this visit was during a heatwave and the room was very hot. Without AC it is difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. We had a fan which did help but AC would have been better.

No kettle in the room Too many little notices In the morning cleaning staff were bickering loudly throughout the 30 minutes it took us to get ourselves ready to leave

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is really quirky, full of decorations. Some might find that tacky, I just loved it! The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is excellent and overall it made for a very pleasant stay. The old town is just a short stroll away. There's plenty of parking, including several chargers for electric cars, so I was able to continue my journey the next day with a full battery.

There's nothing not to like, this place is great!

Super stylish hotel, where clever interior designers clearly did a fantastic job. Large and tastefully furnished rooms, huge and comfy beds, fabulous breakfast. Very nice receptionists. Gratis parking. El-vehicles charging stations. What else can you possibly wish?

The girl upon check-in was super friendly (Valerie) but the one the next morning was the absolute opposite! The room was big and quiet. The Trattoria Sorano across the street also belongs to the hotel so you can book a table at the restaurant through the hotel.

Lack of electric plugs (had to unplug the light next to the desk) and no A/C. A fan is provided in the room but when it is very hot, the room is not cooling down enough.
