Pleasant, good sized room with a balcony. Nice breakfast. Good sauna and steam room included, plus outdoor pool, which was pretty cold but it was Septemeber! Pleasant grounds and communal areas. Good location a short walk from the centre of Bad Schandau, right next to the historic lift.

Room was quite dark. More info on spa/ sauna and steam room opening times would have been useful. They give you a lot of written info (in German) but even after going through it all we didn't have the answers. My partner had a slightly odd experience with staff in terms of how they reacted when she went for a beer from the bar in the evening.

A beautiful setting, peacefull and very pretty. Most of the staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of choice at breakfast which we really enjoyed. We had a river view room. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The was a really enjoyable treat

A very high step into the shower, no kettle in room which would have been nice but didn't spoil our visit.

We traveled by bikes to Bad Schandau so we could store them in a bike storage (they have 2 storages for bikes and e-bikes). the staff at hotel was very kind, smiling and helpful, we also received free pass for travelling by bus & train in the surroundings. The breakfast was fabulous and beds were comfortable.

Very big hotel with plenty of space for all the guests, we were surprised by how big the rooms were. Lovely view on the Elbe, friendly people (however some did not speak English) and very nice breakfast.

No kettle in the room for tea/coffee. No curtains and only windowblinds in the room? I can imagine that's quite unhandy in summer when the sun rises early.

Location, great view from hotel room window, on Elbe river, friendly staff, no problem with parking place, superb park surrounding hotel facilities, selection of tasty local food for breakfast, selection of local and slow food for dinner

Great room with a nice view and terrace facing the Elbe. Restaurant in the Hotel was great so was the food. Included breakfast was fantastic.

For the size of the room the bathroom and in particular the shower was tiny - think 1/2 a telephone booth.

Nice room, nice view . Excellent breakfast. All well organized. Good and safe bike storage.

For this price, would expect tea/coffee making facilities, slippers, toothbrush, amenities. Pity, the pool is not heated. I was the only one inside, everyone else walked away, saying I'm crazy

A historic hotel from the beginning of the 20th century, located in a beautiful park-garden, with generous and elegant spaces.

The pool was rather small for such an elegant hotel.

A nice hotel, very clean. The saunas are nice. The breakfast was great. Happy to recommend 😊

Only few receptionists speak english. But it's the same everywhere in this area...

the staff is very friendly. our dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing.
