Clean and airy rooms (I had a corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows, which was pretty nice.) Staff were polite if not warm, except for one lady in the breakfast room who spoke good English and was very charming. Quiet and well-located, if in a slightly random parking lot/complex next to Schoneberg station. There is an excellent cafe, Café de Enrico, a five-minute walk away.

There are a few strange things about this hotel. There is no kettle or fridge in the room, which I would expect at this price point. One of the windows had no curtains, so even with a sleep mask I was woken by the light in the morning. I felt these things, though they might seem small, really downgraded my experience of the hotel and meant I wouldn't stay there again.

This new hotel is only a 20 minute walk from the house David Bowie lived in (late '70s). Very friendly and professional staff. Fun, modern "design" hotel. Very comfortable, affordable and feels luxurious too. Looks exactly like the photo's. I asked for a room with a view, and that's what they gave me. Loved it! Great service. The rooms are modern, spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom is fun and clean, has a bluetooh system you can play your own music on (connected to your phone). Sounds great. The shower is a real good one and the bed is good and comfortable. The breakfast is proper, even has options for gluten free. Good coffee! I travel alone, by car, so it's really nice you can get to the hotel easily and park (safe) under the hotel. If you are lucky, you can park on the road by the hotel for free(?). The hotel is located in super short distance of a S-bahn station and near plenty of places to eat, supermarket, a cinema... The wifi in the hotel works great. If I go to Berlin again, I''ll definitely consider staying at The Niu Dwarf again.

I like the design of the Niu hotels. They have different themes depending on the location. Lovely bed linens and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom.

I arrived at around 8 pm after a long journey, ready for something small to eat and a nice drink. The bar was closed and when I inquired at reception why that was although the website states differently, she just shrugged and replied: "Because the girl isn't here". When I asked her if she could privide with some bar items she relied: "No, I work the reception, not the bar. The vending machine is over there." I found her rude and unhelpful.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were big enough and had everything you need. The hotel was super close to public transportation and it was very well connected with the rest of Berlin. Perfect for a couple and affordable. We also managed to store our luggage for a few hours before we departured, so we could enjoy the last day in Berlin. Definitely recommend it!

I asked to clean the room, as usually we start the day late, went out for 5h, and when we were back the room was not clean. The receptionist said if I do not have the "do not disturb" sign they will, but it did not happen. However, they were always nice and polite so I would only ask to clarify at least when are the cleaning hours for the next guests. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Funky interior, the room was very nice and perfectly clean. Hotel has this fresh vibe despite being quite a large hotel. Also, it was quiet, and never got my sleep disturbed - probably good sound isolation. I also loved the idea of sparing the cleaning if the sign left on the door. The bluetooth speaker in the bathroom was a nice extra :)

The bathroom was a bit disappointing - the shower area was not separated from the rest of the bathroom, just the curtain. Also, there was no storage space in the bathroom at all - you can only keep your toiletries on (quite a small space) on the sink, but as a lady, I'd appreciate more space. The bathroom also had just a soap dispenser, no extras like conditioner, vanity kit, etc. which is expected for a hotel of such level. Also, it was a bit cold but I didn't use AC maybe that would help to warm up. If you don't have a great reason to stay in the area - don't. It is right next to S-bahn station and bus stop but still quite far from the center and nice restaurants, entertainment etc.

Extremely helpful, friendly, and understanding staff! Good location - close to an S-Bahn/U-Bahn station, 20-30 minutes to the very center of the city The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and as far as I can tell, properly soundproof. The Bluetooth speakers both in the bedroom and the bathroom were a nice touch. A wide variety of breakfast options. It's been my second stay at the niu Dwarf and I'm very likely to book a stay again during my future Berlin visits.

Very practical close to station without being bothered by train noise, or road! Speedy to get a taxi when i was late leaving. Very tasty varied breakfast choice. Very nice calm quiet, relaxing ambiance inside though the area around was not the most esthetic, this was like a little haven with green and wooden hues which was a welcome break from the town around and my stay at a big tiring convention just before.

Dim lighting is very nice for relaxing , but a bit dim when i had to reorganise my bags and try to fix my costume. Having a bright overhead light option would be nice too.

Stylish and modern interior with a cosy feel. Conveniently located next to public transport and not too far from the city centre. Comfy beds, blackout curtains and big shower. Adjustable aircon. Loved the Wi-Fi speakers in the bathroom!

Nothing really. Although coffee making facilities would be a nice extra-touch. And outdoor seating for the restaurant/bar area is missing (or maybe I just didn’t see this).

Great location less than a minute away from a well-connected subway station. Great breakfast with many options, friendly staff, whole place was sleek and immaculately clean, bed was very comfortable.

No amenities, no tea or coffee in the room but this really wasn’t an issue for me. Light in the bathroom seemed to be hard-wired to stay on constantly.

The location is good just next to the Schoenenberg S-Bahn station. But it is quiet and the room is soundproof. Besides, I lost my AirPods near the entrance of the parking lot and I realized when I left Berlin already. I contacted the staff and they were super kind to help me searching my AirPods. Though they were broken, the staff there are really warm-hearted. Thanks a lot!
