1. Long queue to access the breakfast room, which is to small for the hotel capacity, despite to the huge effort of the personnel to manage the situation 2. Long time to check-in, while is started at 3 p.m. and all tourists want to check-in at that time; difficult to think that they finished to clean up all the free room in the same time, and the hotel cannot do the check-in step by step, after each cleaned room becomes available 3. I didn't receive my invoice; the personnel told me I will get it by mail; not yet received after 2 days.

The staff is very friendly. Alina from the reception is lovely.

The canteen is poorly planned and can't cope with the number of people coming for breakfast. This makes queues, the staff is stressed, and guests are crammed into small spaces and also stressed. Bad start of each day. Housekeeping starts way too early in the morning. 9 am they are already knocking on the doors. Why not use them to help in the canteen with breakfast and stop bothering the guests so early?

Excellent location! Large room and bathroom relative to other German hotel rooms. Staff was kind. Hotel was safe and clean. Easy to get to from Dresden Hbf and easy access to the old part of the city.

Long lines to check in, long lines at breakfast, long lines at the bar. We ended up not going to breakfast at the hotel since the lines were so long. Also, we had a toilet paper problem. We got 1 roll when we checked in, eventually ran out, and struggled to get more because the hotel was out "waiting on a delivery." So, we just went and bought a pack. Not a big deal, but weird for Holiday Inn Express. I would stay here again!

Large modern functional basic city centre chain hotel, 10 minutes walk from the train station and right in the city centre so easy access to shops/restaurants on the doorstop - several supermarkets within a few minutes as were all Christmas markets (the reason for our visit). We had a 2 bedroomed room unit which accommodated our family of 5 well - 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Small table/chairs for 4. Kitchenette with hob plate (not working), microwave, small fridge, Nespresso machine (no pods) and sink. Small bathroom with ‘OK’ shower. Very clean and well maintained. Basic but fresh continental breakfast was included our rate - very busy when we were there with a queue on one day but managed efficiently by very friendly staff team.

No cups/plates/cutlery/cooking utensils/washing up liquid/cloths etc and broken hob made kitchenette pretty unusable, although staff did provide us with some plates & cutlery when requested. No milk provided for tea/coffee, no pods for Nespresso, although again we were given some milk on request. I’m 6ft 4 inches tall and had to reach above my shoulder height to access the microwave - someone smaller would have struggled.

Location was great and the breakfast was a great value. We were able to have a satiating meal to prepare for the long day of exploration. We were walking distance from most spots we wanted to visit as well. Rooms were comfortable.

Parking is not included but there is an open lot behind the hotel for 6 euros for 24 hrs or a covered garage for 15 euros. The queue for check-in was extremely long so the process was quite time-consuming. I think the hotel may have been close to capacity so we had to wait for an available elevator quite often. Each one was quite full. Keep that in mind should you need to be somewhere at a specific time.

Zimmer - small but OK Breakfast - I was there at 8:00, generally OK but the bread rolls cold and hard (probably the left-overs from the day before), juice should be called "coloured water". Lage - super

The hotel is neither directly accessible with the car (pedestrian zone) not it has its own parking. There is a large parking area for about 400 cars next to the hotel, so far, so good... However, the hotel address is Prager street 13 but it is impossible to get to the parking lot using the hotel address. I would strongly recommend to you that in the hotel description should be said: The hotel does not provide the parking , however the large parking facility is located 50m from hotel at the Reitbahnstrasse, for a very moderate fee of 6 Euro per day.

Location is close to the train station, shopping plaza, Altstadt and everything. The morning breakfast is not bad with choices. The room is spacious and the air conditioning is actually working.

The shower water temperature is not steady, hot and cold water came out from the shower head in alternate moment.There are too many people in the early breakfast time but the hotel staffs managed it well. The check in time is way too long as there is a long queue of tourists waiting but just one reception working until later in the night.The view from the room and the corridor are nice.

The hotel located in the downtown, which is usefull for tourists. Pretty clean and quiet rooms.

There is no secured parking lot, only the public parking near by. The breakfast isn't the richest one, only cold sandviches, drinks, fruits. Pretty crowdy even at 8 am on breakfast. When cheking out, one of the group guest's name was misspelled in the invoice, so we asked to change the name, but were blamed by the staff that this is our fault and they aren't responsible for checking the guests names while check in. The name has been corrected and new invoice printed, but this left an impression.

The location was great - a short 10 minute walk from the station. The room and whole floor had been totally refurbished and so clean and new. It was excellent value for money with a fantastic breakfast included. The room had all standard amenities. We were able to leave bags in a secure storage area. We would stay again and recommend to others.

The reception staff seemed to be a bit chaotic when we arrived. We waited ages to check in with 3 people on reception - perhaps the computers were playing up. It seemed strange to have the wash hand basin in the room but perhaps that was an architect's whim. Storage was lacking. Issues highlighted here were minor in comparison to the positives so we would stay again!

I was staying in a newly renovated room and wow it was luxury! There was a desk and chair on wheels, ambient lighting, room height mirror, the bathroom was spotless and very modern. A treat for the price paid

This is a minor thing...If you're rushing to check out, it is faster and more reliable to take the stairs because the lift just keeps going up and down with everyone also trying to check out. I stayed on floor 6. Got in the elevator to go to the ground floor. The lift went up to floor 8, then down to 5, then back up to 8 and at this point I took the stairs down as it was unpredictable how long it would take to get to the bottom with it keeping on going back up.
