Going to write this review in English again so that everyone can read it. As you may know by now I am a local guide and a honest reviewer basing most of things on facts combined with my raw opinion. This is our 3th hotel in Düsseldorf this month and I am definitely giving this one the *to go to* We've came here yesterday on the 2th of August and we will stay till tomorrow the 4th of August. It was perfect how we arrived at the Crown parking above the hotel, you can easily follow the directions (stating carathotel) from your car that brings you to an elevator stating the ground floor (hotel lobby) 3 floor (parking) 4th floor (rooms & breakfast) and 5th floor. The elevator works with the carathotel card so when you just arrive it only brings you to the ground floor so that way you are sure that no unwanted visitors are in the hotel. So, before we went to this hotel I obviously went through a lot of reviews, let me debunk some of them along the way. First of all I read a review from someone stating hotel lobby Personal is young and inexperienced? I don't know if this person was in a bad mood or something while writing her review but that must have been just her or his opinion, fact is that the staff is absolutely not inexperienced. They were short and clear in how the hotel works and that's fine, I've checked in online which safes a lot of time as well. As for the parking it's €28 per day but if you stop by the reception before leaving you'll get a €8 discount. Around the hotel you can park but you'll end up paying €19 orso so do yourself a favor and park at the Crown. So much easier and nice and in no time you're in the hotel and or the big shopping center. It's heaven! So, the rooms. Let me debunk reviews about the air-conditioning. Nothing wrong with that!! No clue why people are complaining about it but yall need to stop!

very comfortable modern room. I had one of the many courtyard facing rooms which get no traffic noise. Helpful reception staff. Amazing choice of quality food at breakfast.

Location - around 10 min from the central station or centre Breakfast - loads of choice: hot food, cold foods, pancakes, pastry, plenty of choice for vegetarians and good coffee etc. Even the tables were lied with attention to detail. Staff were quickly replacing food. Bedroom - spacious enough, very comfortable bed and pillows, spacious bathroom. No noise even from the rooms facing the street. Cleanliness - maintained throughout the hotel, fresh smelling room Staff - very pleasant, happy to help. Facilities - really impressed for a budget hotel. We had coffee machine in the bedroom and two 1l bottles of water. There is free coffee and water in the reception untill 4pm.

Breakfast and air condition

I have stayed to this hotel for several times.This time I have booked a superior room but it was no difference from the rooms that I have known before.

What I liked most were was the comfortable bed, almost no noise from the streets and the location of the hotel. Breakfast was very good as well. Bathroom also very nice. We got to check in a little earlier which was highly appreciated. Check out process was also extremely easy.

I think the price set my expectations quite high and even though the hotel was overall very good I think it's overpriced (at least for the price I paid). The atmosphere and design are also a bit cold and "conference" or "office" like, with big open spaces, very long corridors and with a lot of gray in the design.

Great location, big enough room, wonderful breakfast, nice staff. If you are in the business trip it is the place to stay. Also there is a exceptional supermarket with fantastic choice of delicatessen from Germany on the next corner and Japanese food restaurants street in a walkable distance.

iPad kind of system operation in the room was not good at all. This recent will to digitalize everything has its minors. It's difficult to operate air conditioner system and TV by the same device. As well as not being able to call a reception from a fix telephone in the room is strange. Internet in the room was bad here, I had to go downstairs and check my email. Needless to say it was not comnfortable.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Staff/Reception were friendly and helpful. I liked the little bar - it didn't look much at first sight but each night there were people there chatting and as a single (female) traveller I felt quite happy to sit there and have a drink. The hotel is well positioned in relation to the main railway station and to the old part of the town/ the Christmas markets and the museums. It's a big hotel with a central courtyard; it also has a small library and reading area (and some rather strange artwork).

There was nothing to complain about at all. Housekeeping is not done daily and some people may not like that but I think it is a sensible approach / green initiative (and is not uncommon in hotels now anyway).

The hotel is nicely located in the centre of town and it is everything it promised to be. It's not a super-stylish place, but it's clean, the pictures are good representations of what the hotel is like and the food was good. No complaints.

The only thing that stopped me giving it all out top marks is that I do wonder if it is just a little over-priced. I paid around £125 for my room. That just feels a little more than what would be right. Once you get into three figures I think you're in a slightly different ballpark. Only a relatively small thing though and if I were to go to Duesseldorf on business again then this hotel would be on the radar.

The position of the hotel is ok: close to the city center and to the river for a pleasant running session early in the morning to start properly the day! Very good the presence of the parking in the silos beside the hotel at reduced rates. Room and toilet well cleaned. The shower is quite large and almost brand new. Beds and pillows allow a proper rest. The breakfast in the morning is ok, even if the labelling on the foods are not set properly in English.

Poor wifi connection in my room, most probably due to the position with respect to the router.

There is very and very clean in hotel, coridors and in the rooms. Room was very spacious with extremely wide bed:) Breakfast is very rich in choice. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Location is very central withiin walking distance to shops, restaurant, little Tokyo, enbankment. Possible parking on the street near hotel (2,9 eur/hour and free of charge of between 20pm - 9am) or you may choose hotel parking (30 eur).
