Good breakfast, comfortable bed, coffee and water in a room

One person at front desk and bar is difficult if more people want to check in and order in the evening. Self check in was problematic, I was not found, with code didn't work too, person needed to register me manually. Given info about company for invoice in Booking.com hotel did not see, asked me to write info in Booking.com messeges, said... thank you... but at my stay in hotel asked to write on paper one more time, because can not find. Just took check in to long. P.S.1. Safe box in a room did not work, dead batteries, so I took a risk leaving like that and after room cleaning nothing was missing...thank you for that. P.S.2. First evening central water circulation in radiator was to loud, but next day it was ok already.

Great location, clean & spacious room. Newer hotel with delicious breakfast (UK & European style, fully stocked w/various fresh options).

Self-check in… you come to a hotel to receive service and not to have to check in yourself. The process is not intuitive. Each room must have its own individual name assigned, different for each room booked. This includes families, so prepare if you have not done so. The service was great but the overall hotel service system does have its flaws that create stress for both the client and staff.

Good location - close to both train station and city centre so easily accessible at walking distance. Breakfast, whilst being the same daily, is very good and great quality. Bed is comfortable Plenty of places to have lunch/dinner/takeaway nearby.

Had an issue on arrival which delayed my checkin by more than an hour due to having to liaise with booking.com team - issue was ultimately on the hotel's side as they had changed their IT system after I originally booked and paid in advance, and could not find my payment hence were initially requiring the payment again to be able to access the room - with booking staff and the hotel reception staff's help it was solved, though not a great thing having to spend time after long travel to sort something like this, specially given hotel apparently had already multiple similar complaints before according to reception staff Could do with some better pillows - lack of mini fridge is a bit of a down side although there is a vending machine on the floors.

This hotel is in an excellent location, making it a perfect choice for a short business trip to Düsseldorf. The central position offers walking distance to everything you might need, which is incredibly convenient. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety of options to start the day. The rooms, while not very large, were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, combining a superb location, good amenities, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Düsseldorf!

The hotel is located in the Dusseldorf city centre, in a safe location, very close to the Central Train Station, tram/metro stations, to the market and to the bar/restaurants. You can walk easily to all these locations (train, tram/metro stations, Alstadt, market, shops, restaurants/bars) and feel safe at the same time. The room was very nice, well designed, warm and very clean. Very comfortable bed, with USB charge points and electric plugs next to it. Also the room is quiet, sound proof and no noise at all from the city centre. Spacious WC and shower, well designed and very clean. Amazing breakfast with lots of options to cover your needs. The personnel was very helpful, always with a smile and very keen to serve you. If you arrive before check-in time, the hotel can keep your luggage, while you can take a walk to the city until check-in time comes. I'll totally choose to stay again in Carathotel in my next visit.

The Smart TV wouldn't let you to use NETFLIX/YOUTUBE applications, it was locked for some reason, but this is not a serious problem.

We'd like to say special thanks to Cyprian (or Cyprien? I'm not sure about the spelling) who showed impeccable high standards in his service. He's very professional, patient and helpful. He attentively helped us resolving some issues during our stay and largely helped our experience. We hope to stay in this hotel again in the future because of this outstanding service level. The other staff members were also very friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent, you can walk to the old town and visit some fabulous coffee shops. Even that the hotel is located in the centre of the city it felt very safe and quiet. Room was spacious, gorgeous bathroom! Bed could be more comfortable but it was absolutely fine for a one night. Breakfast is a top 10! Everything what you can think of you will find at the Breakfast bar. From freshly orange juice, to wide range of cereals, fruits, nuts and seeds. To hot Breakfast including eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, etc Wr would definitely recommend this hotel a great value of money!

To twin beds put together, not very comfy! Ask for cot but didn't have it in the room. Receptionist should mention about parking charges on the check in process. Vending machine wasn't working

very comfortable modern room. I had one of the many courtyard facing rooms which get no traffic noise. Helpful reception staff. Amazing choice of quality food at breakfast.

Going to write this review in English again so that everyone can read it. As you may know by now I am a local guide and a honest reviewer basing most of things on facts combined with my raw opinion. This is our 3th hotel in Düsseldorf this month and I am definitely giving this one the *to go to* We've came here yesterday on the 2th of August and we will stay till tomorrow the 4th of August. It was perfect how we arrived at the Crown parking above the hotel, you can easily follow the directions (stating carathotel) from your car that brings you to an elevator stating the ground floor (hotel lobby) 3 floor (parking) 4th floor (rooms & breakfast) and 5th floor. The elevator works with the carathotel card so when you just arrive it only brings you to the ground floor so that way you are sure that no unwanted visitors are in the hotel. So, before we went to this hotel I obviously went through a lot of reviews, let me debunk some of them along the way. First of all I read a review from someone stating hotel lobby Personal is young and inexperienced? I don't know if this person was in a bad mood or something while writing her review but that must have been just her or his opinion, fact is that the staff is absolutely not inexperienced. They were short and clear in how the hotel works and that's fine, I've checked in online which safes a lot of time as well. As for the parking it's €28 per day but if you stop by the reception before leaving you'll get a €8 discount. Around the hotel you can park but you'll end up paying €19 orso so do yourself a favor and park at the Crown. So much easier and nice and in no time you're in the hotel and or the big shopping center. It's heaven! So, the rooms. Let me debunk reviews about the air-conditioning. Nothing wrong with that!! No clue why people are complaining about it but yall need to stop!

The hotel is well located, central, a 10-minute walk from the train station, 2 min walk to trams and a short walk to the old town. It is spacious, new and well maintained. The room was massive, clean, with tea/coffee facilities. Water is provided. Bathroom is huge/new/clean We got a last minute deal, which also made it great value for a 2-night stay
