Central, well styled, clean hotel, helpful and friendly receptionist. Free mini bar - 4 small bottles of water plus a bottle of apple juice, cola and beer. Room is short on space but it’s well styled. Had a room overlooking the quiet road at the front of the hotel, rather than at the back with dozens of ventilation shafts.

I let the hotel know that I wanted a gluten free breakfast. The information had not filtered down to kitchen staff or waitresses. Was offered a measley 3 slices of gluten free white bread - which could not be toasted as the kitchen doesn’t even have a toaster !!!!! No other effort was made despite a lavish offering pastries and various healthy breads. Come on guys it’s 2023 !!!

Location was great, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel and the room was very stylish, it felt very fresh. The sound isolation was also quite decent, as we didn’t hear anything from the other guests. The minibar was refilled every day and it was included in our stay, which was great!

There were some things that were worn/slightly broken. For example the roller blinds were either fully up or down, not possible to adjust as they didn’t stay. There was also a towel hanger that was semi-broken.

The hotel is beautiful. The location is fantastic; walking distance to the Königsallee, Carlstadt, Altstadt etc... The rooms are beautiful and quiet. The breakfast, as per all the other reviews, is spectacular! And the team are just lovely. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to coming back again.

Our only gripe is the lack of drawers in the room to put socks/underwear/t-shirts in. But that is minor compared to how lovely everything else was. We'll never stay anywhere else again when we come to D-Dorf!

Nice place,good location

A nice hotel, but looks a bit less fresh than in pictures, nice staff but answer to all requests is no. For example: to cover the motion detector that lits the light in the room at night (bathroom is connected with glass wall to the room so it all suddenly lights up when one is using bathroom). Freezing AC in the breakfast. Stuff like that, no big deal, but still. Wish them best of luck though,it has great potential

Super-comfortable bed, nice picture window. Pleasant lounge, nice staff at reception and the bar, good breakfast. SImple menu offerings at the bar (pasta/pesto, for example, which was excellent) Easy walk to Konigsallee and beyond to the Kunsthalle, Schausspeilhaus. More or less direct 15-min walk from the main station.

Bathroom was a bit small/awkward, but not a big problem. No chair in the room - there were stools at a bar counter - again not a big deal.

Beautiful, stylish & spacious room. Fantastic breakfast buffet and a great shower! Also a few free drinks in the mini fridge and nice complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.

Shower / toilet cubicle is transparent so no privacy. Also no comfy chair to relax on, just high bar stools.

Everything about this hotel was a cut above other hotels. The bedroom is beautifully furnished. The rain shower is the best shower I’ve ever had. The breakfast was delicious although vegan options were limited. The coffee was the best I had on my 2 week trip in Germany.

The room was great, with a window we could open for a view over the street. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. Excellent location in the center of Dusseldorf.

The room was small, but the designers made great use of the space, and the shower/bathroom door was an innovative idea.

We loved the breakfast so much!! Everything was delicious and so nice served! The personnel was also very friendly and ready to help us anytime!! The location was super, close to Konnings Allee and stores! The room was clean and the double bed very comfortable!

We totally disliked the bathroom in the room. There was no regular door only a glass door that was transparent and didnt close properly. So in reality we couldnt use it!!

Bright room with two very large and exquisite white-framed windows in French style, both with bay areas to sit and relax, and both with wooden white shutters to close from the inside if one wants to sleep in dark. Breakfast is small but fine, yet not ur usual boring selection within this price range. The Lage aka location is perfect just on the southern end of the Königsallee.

Just an impression: the lighting for the dinner area could be more comfy, less LED white but warmer. But this is more of personal taste. Nothing negative in my mind. I am a picky traveler, esp. in hotels. But this is definitely the one of the best in Düsseldorf with a very good value for money.
