We had an excellent four nights at the Hotel Classic. The room was spacious, warm and clean as was the shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We appreciated a fresh bottle of water in our room each day. We chose the hotel for its location as we wanted to be able to park our car for free and then we used the tram each day to travel around the city. The tram stop is on the main road outside the hotel. Our room was above the reception and right next to the stairs but we were never disturbed by any noise. We would definitely use this hotel again in the future.

It was ok for an overnight travel stop. The beds were comfortable, locality easily accessible and calm, bathroom shower hot and strong, breakfast pricey but very good.

Based on reviews and pictures I expected much larger rooms. In the room for five we got one double bed, one sofa (ok for two children but narrower for adults) and one foldable bed, with hardly any free space in-between. Ok for one night stop but would be a disaster in case of longer stay. Surprise for such a price - I have decided to pay more after bad experience with too crowded rooms and got one again.

Extremely friendly helpful multilingual staff. A room a family of 5. Easy transport links in and out of the city. Clean, warm, practical, good breakfast, easy parking.

Entrance to the road leading to Hotel of Main Street was a little tricky. The extra bed was a proper bed and practically placed, it was comfortable but unfortunately squeaky when rolling over during the night.

We were only able to check in after 22:00 because of some delay traveling from Italy. I therefor called the reception and they gave some clear instructions on how to get the keys of our rooms after check-in time. I also liked that all windows had external blackout window shades, so it was totally dark during the night. Since we were staying with one family in a room with 5 beds, I also liked that the hotel made earbuds available. We did not have to use this though. Last but not least, the hotel was located near a petrol station. So we could refuel and then head home.

We stayed with 2 adults and 3 children in one room. The room had 3 single beds and double sofa bed. This double sofa bed is less comfortable for adults and should be used for children under 12 instead.

Wifi reception in the room was so weak that we needed to go down to the lobby for connection. There were cockroaches in the lobby and one in our room as well. Also the smoking area was below us(?), which was unpleasant.

Clean, comfortable. Odd placement behind a gas station, but also directly on a tram stop that gets you into the city center very easy and ran every 6 minutes.

You can hear a train go by at night, but you get used to it and they do provide ear plugs.

Kind and friendly staff. Free parking. Near a gas station and a giant supermarket of "Real" net. Very clean. Gave us a mini refrigerator according to our request.

Poor WiFi - not supporting whatsapp calls. This is a big minus. Simple furniture. Rate quite high for what you get, especially that it doesn't include the breakfast price.

Nice room with good bed. Our room to the backyard had a balcony and was quiet. Free parking in front of the hotel, and very convenient tram connection to downtown Freiburg: tram station across the street and trams leaving every 7th minute. Served perfectly our needs to find a hotel with safe parking, close to a tramstation for our one night stay in Freiburg.

The location and staff were great ! We had a big room with a small balcony.

The parking is a bit small but everyone can find a place. The wifi connection was not optimal, didn't work in our room.

Comfortable beds, clean, renovated room with adequate space, helpful and friendly staff, serves fairly good-priced breakfast buffet but accommodated when only wanted coffee. Good location, walking distance to Gelenk Clinic , convenient tram ride to the city center with the tram stop close to the hotel.

no complaints, perhaps a small fridge in the room would be a plus
