Spacious junior suite, outstanding breakfast until 11, helpful staff, well isolated room (could even play my viola with a mute). The bed was most comfortable and the lighting upstairs better than downstairs (it is a duplex).

Zwischenreinigung is a great idea, but on the third day it would have been a good idea to replenish coffee, tea, toilet paper, and use a vacuum cleaner (our cat is shedding). Upon demand, the staff reacted swiftly.

Spacious room, comfortable, clean and very quiet area of the hotel (hardly heard any noise). The staff were friendly and helpful and there was overall a pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. Great breakfast (though there is also a good bakery around the corner for those looking for a budget option). The hotel is in an attractive residential area close to the city centre and University, with some good bistros and restaurants nearby.

During busy periods (evening check in time), quite long queues would form at the reception, which seemed to be understaffed. This was off-putting on arrival and gave a negative impression; facing a 20minute queue, I left my luggage and came back after food, when it was quieter. The check-in procedure could be streamlined somewhat.

My husband and I really enjoyed our short stay in Stradthotel. We arrived very late (almost midnight) but they still welcomed us very warmly. Large rooms and shower. Very good b'fast with cold cuts, bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages, cereals, yoghurt, fruit salad, slices of fruit, fruits, you can make your own smoothies/juices and waffles, orange juice (packet), very good coffee, teas, jams, Nutella, cakes, all types of fresh bread (buns, loaves brown and white). You can also ask for coffee on the go. Daily housekeeping and really nice helpful staff. They try to accommodate you with everything you ask (we asked for a kettle and they provided it to us along with 2 cups). One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

If I may suggest 2 things, please change the pillows. I had to put in a towel to sleep. And another coffee machine in the b'fast room will be better than one. But I wouldn't change my rating because of this slight inconvenience.

The whole package was great, everything we asked for was available....plus we were given an update on our room. Thankyo soooo appreciated that.

The only thing, we disliked, was the situation of the Cigarette Smokers Ashtray ..... adjacent to he front door of tha Hotel, so when you enter or exit you walk through a cloud or stench of smoke. Our problem I guess, being non-smokers 🤔

This hotel has a great location in a quiet street, just a few 100m from the old city of Freiburg and connection to the bus/tram network. Very clean & comfortable rooms with everything needed for a short stay.

Reception was quite busy at check-in, but the staff worked quickly and efficiently to help the guests. It seemed that several guests were waiting for rooms to be prepared, but the hotel offered them a comfortable waiting area and drinks while they waited.

Good quality for money paid, nice breakfast from 6:30 to 11:00. The location is excellent, only 5 min away from town on foot.

It took me by surprise that the hotel has no AC. On a hot summer eve, sleeping without AC (with a only a noisy fan) is deadly. Even though hotel advertises parking spaces, but chances are you won't get any. ATTN: The underground parking nearby is NOT 12 EUR/day. From what I understand, if you're a traveler you pay by the hour.

Location room and ease of parking was great! Breakfast beautiful but also close to bakery and cafes.

No tea or coffee in rooms !! Staff on desk were inundated with lines of people at check in. It was a slow process but they remained calm and caring. Needed more staff at that time as guests were getting angry at the time it was taking to speak to someone. Our room was not ready at check in and we sat for an hour and a half waiting. Was very busy !!

Location is good in the ring of the city centr The rooms are realy good and clean The stuff was very polite and nice specialy MAHMUD he helps us in the late check in the first night

In the check in the first night we had a real ptoblem in the reception somehow our reservation was cancelled .....eventhough we informed the place that we will arrive late at night to check in. But need to say the recptionguy did the best to help us

Greatly stylish apartment, utmost clean, large kitchenware choice, all very clean and with no trace of dust whatsoever, complimentary coffee capsules. It was amazing that I could get free entrance to the nearby gym, just round the corner, by showing my room card. Cards were in wood, attention to the environment. I highly recommend. For those without private transport, line 101 stops opposite the residence and connects with Bern station.

Excellent communication with the hotel beforehand. Easy check in and check out. The location is very good. Within walking distance of the railway station and the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. Outstanding breakfast.

I would have liked to have had a larger, firmer second pillow. The shower was dangerously slippery and there was no handrail to steady yourself.
