Just spent a night at a fantastic hotel in Fussen, Bavaria. The room is beautifully light, airy and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast is amazing. It included the equivalent of a 3 tier cakestand with prawns, smoked salmon, horseradish sauce, various meats and cheeses, olives, tomatoes, fresh fruit salad in individual bowls, individual yoghurts in glass bowls, super coffees with a jug of cream, rolls, butter, jams, fruit juice and smoothies in glasses on the table, an individual plate of apple strudel with ice cream and cream and a strawberry, and even a glass of Prosecco!!!! The owner is a Michelin chef and the attention to detail is amazing. In addition, Fussen is a lovely medieval town. We have two more hotels to visit on the way home, each of which will be very good. Worth all the travelling.

Very comfortable room. I judge rooms by their bedspreads! Everything was clean, fresh and roomy. There was a small plate with grapes and sweets in the room. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is the best we have ever had at a B&B. 5+ star resort level rating! Breakfast was served in a bright & cheerful setting. The host was a delight! He couldn’t speak English and we couldn’t speak German but got along great. We were traveling on motorcycles and had been riding in the rain. He opened his garage for me to pull in. We hung our gear up and he took our gloves. When we said our goodbyes the next morning, he handed us fry and toasty gloves along with a hug. We would highly recommend this B&B!

We loved everything

the room was spacious, well lit and comfortable. the bed was very large and comfortable. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was served in a beautiful manner, although the selection was a bit lacking. However, the cook prepared a specialty dish (apparently he makes something different every day) which was outstanding (the best French toast we've ever had).

The shower in the room was awful. One couldn't actually stand erect in the shower (we are rather short) since the ceiling was sloped and very low at the point where the bathtub was. So, a very inconvenient experience.

We just stayed here at Hotel Christine for 3 nights and simply loved our time in Fussen. We enjoyed a nice easy walk into town from the hotel via a beautiful walkway looking out towards both Castles in the distance. We did this multiple times. The location is ideal. Our room was great with a nice view from our balcony and the bed just so comfortable. The breakfast was simply amazing and delicious. Everyday a new delight. Thank you to the host and hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable.

Kurt by name, curt by nature! Or so we thought on first impressions. How wrong we were! Kurt is actually a genuinely lovely guy, who clearly takes pride in his establishment. The overall ambiance of Hotel Christine was delightful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident, especially the beautiful and thoughtful bowl of snacks waiting in the room upon arrival. What really took us by surprise though was the exceptional breakfast! Every dish was a work of art, bursting with flavours and crafted with absolute passion. Kurt is clearly a master chef who puts his heart and soul into every creation. Make sure you save room as the food kept coming, and coming, and coming…! Added to the gloss is the truly lovely Anna. Always there with a beaming smile and a cheerful demeanour, ready to assist with any request. Her enthusiasm and dedication to ensuring guests' comfort is remarkable. Anna's infectious positivity will make you feel right at home. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Christine for a wonderful experience. The incredible food prepared by a master chef, the super happy and smiling Anna, all contributed to making our stay unforgettable. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a culinary adventure, this hotel has it all. If you take time to get to know them, you’ll discover that Kurt and Anna are a fabulous team who have been blessed to find each other. Go! You won’t regret it!

If I had one minor criticism, we could have done with a fan in the room as it was incredibly hot during our visit.

The breakfast table was set exquisitely, as if for royalty. The restaurant hostess, Anna, was absolutely charming. The view from my balcony was a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains with Neuswanstein Castle directly in the middle. The Hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained.

The magnificent stone aggregate stair treads, but one of those treads had a large, unsightly, crack, and gouge on it. I would hope to think that in order to maintain the almost impeccable decor, that particular damaged stair tread should be repaired or replaced.

We stayed in Füssen 1 night before our castle tours in the morning. Only 10 minutes away from the parking for the castles and a 10 minute walk into downtown. Great location. The room was nice and clean. The best part was the amazing view of the Alps from our balcony. It was drizzling the evening we stayed, but it was still a very easy walk on the path behind the hotel to town for dinner. Breakfast was the best we had during our road trip. Fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, smoothies, coffee- it was all delicious and we were sad we couldn’t finish it all. Highly recommend for a stay in Fussen.

What an amazing place to stay at. We were on a European tour traveling on a motorcycle and it was very hot when we arrived. We were greeted with an ice refreshing lemon drink on checking in. The owner said to put my Motorcycle in their garage. The room was absolutely amazing. My wife loved the room which was pristine, A nice balcony that we sat on in the evening enjoying drinks from the mini bar. Would definitely stop again. Breakfast was beyond belief. The presentation and quality was amazing. If you are ever in the area definitely stop here

Our room was well appointed with a balcony that had a view of Neuschwanstein castle and the Alps - while a simple hotel I was duly impressed with the little extra details, a plate of fresh fruits, a tiered plate of candies and cookies, a little vase of tulips, good bath amenities etc. The check in manager was lovely and as I had read in previous guests comments - the breakfast there was really over the top for a full German breakfast - everything was great, too much to eat frankly, fruit smoothies, juice, coffee, plates of cheese, meats, smoked salmon, breads of all sorts and then we were brought out freshly scrambled eggs - and REAL eggs - golden yolks! Really outstanding! Mattress very comfortable too…

Not a thing - this was a lovely hotel and nothing I would change - my husband loved it and he’s hard to please - but truly a perfect location for Fuessen. Close enough to everything but yet peaceful and quiet and the view - oh my!

The location is very good, walking distance to center and very close to castles by car, free parking in front of the hotel, rooms are comfortable, we had a nice balcony. Breakfast is served to tables, eventhough there was no eggs on the menu, when I asked for it, they made scrambled eggs for us which was really nice and important for me since I don’t eat sweets or bread. they do have a good prepared and served breakfast and they try to make you happy.

The coffee could be served to tables in pots instead of asking every time.
