Beautiful location. Spacious clean room. Nice facilities with natural pool, sauna. We didn't try the breakfast but it looked like a generous delicious spread. (We instead had a great cheap breakfast <5 minute walk away at Schönegger Käse-Alm.) Just across the road from Hopfensee lake, close to all amenities around the area - lots of eating places; the ones we tried were all reasonably priced. We used this as a base to explore Fussen, Neuschwanstein Castle, the Bavarian Alps. Hopfensee which is right by this hotel is itself is a beautiful lake worth walking/jogging/cycling around.

Pillows were a bit too soft and flat. But that's a small thing more than made up by everything else.

We loved our stay at Landhaus Kossel; when booking we needed to find a dog friendly place and this was by far the nicest accommodation for the price. It was so relaxed and friendly - we loved the natural pool and the location was great to carry a paddle board down to the lake and so close to everything we wanted to visit. The lady on reception was also really friendly and when we decided last minute we wanted breakfast she ran to the shops for more bread! 5 star from us

The location was very close to the lake and the castles. Spacious and clean rooms. The reception staff are courteous and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had

We arrived at night when the key was waiting for us in a service box. It was very dark outside and snowing since there are several buildings we had trouble finding the room. We rang the bell and there was no service person to help us. Only after half an hour of wandering in the cold did we find the room. It is important to have someone available to help

It was awesome. We only stayed one night, but will surely be back. We arrived late, but could get our key out of the safe outside which was great. The room was large, the bed super large and very comfy and the view next morning fantastic! Also the breakfast was great and complete. Location is good, easy parking.

The bathroom is pretty small, the door in the shower cannot open very well because of the towelheater that is hanging behind it... But all together a good bathroom and has everything you need.

The hotel’s location is exceptional. The town is charming, right next to a lovely lake. Through our balcony we could see horses in the meadow and appreciate the picturesque mountains. The hotel itself also was amazing. Beautifully furnished, kitchen with all necessary amenities, comfortable bed, and well-soundproofing windows (this allowed us to sleep longer even though the church bell was ringing since 7am, with the closed windows we didn’t hear a sound). Also, we were staying with our dog and were pleasantly surprised to find a large dog bed and a bowl, so our dog was more than happy to stay here as well. We spent to night at this hotel and wished we had booked it for a longer period simply because we couldn’t get enough of the serenity and calmness of the surroundings, hope to come back here some time in the future.

Beautiful location, close to the bus stop, the lake, restaurants. Easy drive to the town and the castles. Well decorated and luxurious without breaking the bank. Really friendly and helpful staff that made our stay wonderful. They even went the extra mile with providing a huge dog bed for the dog! Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice.

The water pressure in the shower could have been improved. It's only minor, it's still more than enough.

Spacious, well-appointed and immaculately clean room with large bathroom and balcony and views to the hills. Short walk to restaurants on main street and lake. Friendly staff. Shed to store bikes.

I thought it was a sweet little hotel, the bed was comfy the bathroom lots of space, I loved that they had dog beds put in the room and bowls to use! Staff very friendly and location great. Very quiet area.

It's a small room which is fine but it had lots of furniture in it so it felt like a real squeeze! Probably could do without some of the chunkier furniture :)

Room is very big and very nice to chill at the balcony if you are alright with the farm smell. Was issued with a travel card which can be used to visit attraction nearby at discounted rate. The kitchen is well equipped if you are going to cook.

Better direction could be given to access the room after retrieving the key from the safe.

The location is stunning! Even it is not directly right next to Hopfensee, the garden is directly facing the amazing mountains! The view is so relaxing and the apartment is clean, comfortable, and spacious! The furniture in the apartment is well chosen and the style is both modern and cozy. We will definitely stay longer next time.

The WiFi was not stable so basically there was no WiFi during our stay…
