The hotel is conveniently located right by two metro lines, one connecting to the main train station and one to the airport. There are two options for parking - indoor and outdoor. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great water pressure in the shower. There are many restaurants and grocery stores in the area, making it easy to get breakfast and a late dinner. The design of the hotel is very stylish. WiFi was good.

No electrical outlets near the bed. Room is a bit tight for two large suitcases, but definitely manageable. If the window is open, you can hear one of the subway lines, so you don't get complete silence.

Breakfast was really well done. They even had a wafflemaker, which I hadn't seen before in other Ibis hotels. Staff was very helpfull and friendly to sort out the booking differences and the parking garage.

The price. The hotel charged per person per night, and not per room per night which drove the price higher than expected. While the hotel is really nice and met all other requirements, the price was a bit of a let down.

The staff were so friendly and have great customer service. The place is spotless clean and looks quite funky. They do lovely pizza for a very reasonable price until late, which was great in the event you don't want to go back out into the city with kids. The area has lots of cafes and restaurants and is quite a vibrant area. Ibis is perfect for a stay when the focus will be on exploring all there is to see in the city and not hanging around the hotel.

If Ibis put tea and coffee facilities in the rooms they'd be perfect.

I've stayed here with 2 kids, and the room large enough to accomodate 2 kids and 1 parent. The shower was perfect and also the bed was sturdy and comfortable. Their wifi is also excellent and really fast and stable. The breakfast was very nice and enough to choose from, you can even make fresh waffles!

There are no tea/coffee facilities, which should be standard especially when you arrive late in the evening and you want to drink something warm. When you book a room with a foldable bed (which is a convertible desk) then you have no desk anymore, to place your laptop on it.

Location of the hotel is simply superb. We preferred keeping the car in the hotel parking (which is 12 Euros per day) & take the train to all the destinations in Hamburg. Both the S & U stations are just 300/400meters from the hotel. You get everything in the vicinity as there is good marketplace very near to the hotel. The location is great to take a long stroll or go for a run.

They should at least give a bigger room for 2 adults & 1 child. A family of 3 has to stay in a room meant for 2 adults. So its a little congested & they do not provide extra cots as there is no space for it inside the room. Its little uncomfortable for a family of 3 to sleep on a queen-size bed.

the staffs are very friendly and efficient to prepare check in earlier when there is room availability. simple facilities with all I need to stay over the weekend (tower, hair/hand/body shower, tv). it has air conditioner so dutiable when travel during the summer.

no drinking water and small fridge for drinks. but can order drinks from bar to room.

I didn’t like that I was first asked to pay for the room; then it turned out to be a different, much higher rate because I booked through booking.com

Didn't have a flyer that I could place at the door to let the room services know I don't need them while I am in the room. Even though they came daily, the towls weren't changed that often and the trash bins had no bags. No minibar in the room

As ever, reliable and quality. Lovely staff, superb breakfast, simple adequate supper served with a smile. Ibis know how to do this stuff.

WiFi should be fast and free, Not OK these days to charge an extra 6 Euros for a connection solid enough to upload photos.

Great location, 5 mins from the metro st., Then 10- 15 mins by metro to the center. Supermarket Rewe , Decathlon, restaurants next to the htl. Very easy access to everywhere.

15 euro/ breakfast seemed to pricy for us/ person, went to the restaurants around.
