Where to start? First off, Hamburg is a delight in every way. Nature everywhere? Check Vibrant city core? Check Lots to see and shopping? Check Nightlife? (Not quite my thing as a solo woman) but seems a Check. Now, the hotel ibis is the icing on the cake. I think I can sum it up by saying I became a member. Yup, got a member rate immediately when booked another city. ibis all the way, if possible. Heading to ibis Dresden after this ibis Hamburg Alister stay. The hotel is immaculate. The people are of the best quality - from the GM to front desk, dining staff, and room attendants - every interaction was the best. They really care and go above and beyond. I know how trite that sounds, but the truth is the truth. And the food, yummy. Coffee is best quality, even for a coffee snob like me. I just feel comfortable and I can take a sigh like I'm home kinda vibe. The rooms are spacious, everything you need in the washroom already. The locations seem to be very convenient for walking from main train stations if you're like me. Parking too if you drive. Oh, and the price can't be beat for quality and above comments.

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel hence the favourable rating. Location was a few minutes walk from Hamburgerstrasse Tram stop (U3) which meant we never had to change trains. The room was bigger than expected, the bathroom was big with a bath and shower. The beds were comfortable. Both the bathroom and bedroom were clean. We had no trouble getting a parking space on the road in front of the hotel (the hotel has limited parking spaces) where we left the car for the duration of our stay. The area felt safe and quiet. There was a Rewe on one side of the hotel and an Aldi on the other.

A small fridge in the room might have helped but is not essential.

The breakfast was very good and even had scrambled eggs. The room was nice and even had air conditioning. The area is very quiet which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit off the beaten track and the mattress was a bit too firm. Perhaps I am used to a softer mattress.

Really comfy bed, bright and spacious room and bathroom. Enough space for storage and fast wifi connection. 2 supermarkets right outside the hotel. A bit far from U-Bahn but nice walk

Shower was a bit small, the a/c grill was open like someone forgot to close it after a renovation or inspection.

I had a spacious room full of light in a cosy and quiet area. The hotel is only a 6-minute walk to metro and then about ten minutes to Hamburg centre, railway station, most big museums etc. You can also walk to town along the canal, it's a half an hour walk to Alster lake. Nice brekfast/lunch cafe a few minutes from the hotel, Albatros. A supermarket next door. Half an hour walk or a quick taxi to one of the best theatre & music venues in Europe, Kampnagel. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was confy and bigger than I expected. Great location, quiet area and only 10 minutes from the center of the city via public transport (only 5 min walk to the station). Also there is a big shopping mall only 7 min walk from the hotel.

We arrived to the hotel around midnight and thankfully it was no problem because of the 0-24 reception. The staff was nice and gave us some information about the public transportation in Hamburg. Very nice rooms, good selection of breakfast and location is close to the metro station.

Family-friendly. Spacious room. Quiet location. Yet only four minutes walk from the closest Metro station. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff in all departments. Fresh design. Spacious public areas.

Short walk to the train straight into town. Plenty places to eat nearby as well a a supermarket next door for drinks and snacks. Adjacent rooms with a connecting door was perfect for a family.

Parking charge.

Nice location, near U3 station, from where you can get trains to the city center, but also to Airport. REWE grocery is just nearby the hotel, this was also convenient. Clean rooms, good WIFI, breakfast also was okay.
