The check-in experience was disappointing. The receptionist, Ali, couldn’t find our booking by name or number. It took so long that my child fell asleep in the lobby. He was calculating something on a calculator and claimed the prices had increased, even though I had already paid 395 euro for three nights and showed proof of payment. He also raised his voice, which felt unpleasant and unprofessional, making it seem like they were trying to overcharge me. In the end, he said to discuss it the next day. Maybe it was a mistake, but the situation was frustrating.

Everything was great - the room and bed was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and the building not noisy at all.

The only thing that was unacceptable was an incorrect signage at the breakfast. There was a sign saying vegan sausage - as there were many different sausages I wanted to make sure that it's really the vegan one and when I asked an employee he wasn't sure and the other employee confirmed that they don't have vegan sausages, although the sign said it's vegan. if I hadn't asked, I would have mistakenly eaten it.

The hotel was clean, spacious and very quiet. The front of house staff - especially Nicky were very friendly and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. The included breakfast was great and we'll received by the whole family. Thank you!

This is me, being really picky because I loved our stay, but I would like to be able to have access to a water fountain/ machine 24/7 rather than just the restaurant opening hours.

loved the convenience. we drove to the hotel from southern germany. the immediate streets were wide and not busy. the streets were quiet. our room looked onto the outdoor courtyard, also quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking was already full (minimal space) and our large van wouldn't have fit anyway. Sparkasse Parking was easy enough and only 100m north. They kept our luggage so we didnt have to leave it in the parked car and risk the car getting broken into. Most of the staff was very kind. We are happy we stayed here and will stay again. Breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, toast, ham/cheese butter nutella, yogurt bar, apples, cucumber tomato salad, coffee, hot chocolate AND a kids play area.

The staff is super friendly, the room was nice and had basic but enough for a couple of days. The good part of the location is that it is close to the Belgian Quarter either good bars around.

The rooms dont have A/C and the area is too noisy so in summer is not convenient to sleep with the open windows. The breakfast is poor, they offer rotten fruit and don’t refill the menu.

It is good for family travellers, rooms are clean, breakfast is also ok.. definitely recommended:)

Just very loud from people outside, but is normal if you are in a big city. :) Also the parking, you have to book a reservation for your parking in advance. parking areas in the hotel is just 7cars so it might end up you don’t get one. But no worries there is close parking area for like 500m for 20€ per day.

Wonderful stay here. The hotel and room was clean. Our breakfast was included and was a really nice spread. More than just continental. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace and there's also an outdoor seating area on the ground floor. Family friendly (had toys/games to entertain kids) and good location. Would recommend and stay here again.

There wasn't enough parking on site so we had to park in a parking garage nearby. Wasn't a huge deal but with all the luggage would have been nice to have on site parking.

Excellent location in downtown Köln, very close to main railway station and with access to many restaurants and stores. The facilities are generous in public areas, and there is very nice internal garden/terrace as well. Rooms are very convenient for families or small groups. (We had no chance to taste the breakfast, yet the staff provided us with generous luch boxes very early in the morning, before our departure.). Additionally colorful charts in the corridors show interesting information and stories of other guests, in a very cozy mood. We certainly recommend this Hostel!

The bathrooms need some attention. There was a constant sewage like stench in the bathroom and even air freshners were not enough to get rid of it.

Location is perfect and near to the shopping markets plus it was very close to the underground and transportation means. the breakfast was nice and smart. Room was large but no more facilities like ironing or coffee/tea set.

No Iron and table , No coffee/tea making set in addition to the noise coming from the restaurants in the down street. so in principle the hotel missed the options to be given to the customers so that it can upgrade themselves.
