The bed was super comfortable and the size of the room was good (reasonably spacious). Was good that it had a fridge and kitchen. In a good location, close to a number of restaurants and supermarkets - easily accessible by Metro.

The accommodation had no air-conditioning, so we had to leave the windows open with a small pedestal fan to sleep. The electronic entry was not good, as the 4-digit code would not accept one of the digits so had to keep entering the super long code - where a key would have been easier. No staff on-site to advise of issues. The courtyard view was very disappointing.

I was there for work and I loved all the small details that made this room comfortable and took all the stress out of what I as doing for work. The communication via Whatsapp/messaging was perfect and I felt like I had a lovely base for the week. The room also felt really clean and the amenities seemed brand new and working perfectly.

It was pretty hot so air con would have been good but we did have a fan which helped (although the cord was too short). I also would have liked firmer pillows but that's just down to personal taste.

Limehome made our experience in Cologne even better, and it exceeded our expectations. It all starts with online check-in and getting into the apartment without any staff involved. You receive access codes for building doors and room doors, which you then use every time you come and go. The apartment is located in a great central location, next to the metro station. The room is not the biggest, but it's fully furnished with modern design, very comfortable, and clean. We had a courtyard view with big windows and curtains, so we could make our room bright or dark as it suited us. The room has a mini kitchen with everything available, which is a big plus. The bathroom itself is quite spacious, with a big shower, organic shampoo, and shower gel included. For the price we paid, everything was top-notch, and we will definitely return.

The only "minus" is that our room did not include air conditioning, but we knew that in advance. It was not really a problem in the middle of July, as Cologne temperatures are not that high so it was okay.

I liked the easy access into the apartment, and the location was great with plenty of shops bars and restaurants nearby. Room was very comfortable and I loved the free gifts such as the sustainable coffee mug and bamboo toothbrush.

I didn't like that we had to move the coffee maker across to a plug socket next to the bed, this was inconveinant and there should have been a plug socket for this in the kitchen area. I would have preferred the option to choose my room as this one was situated on the ground floor of the courtyard area, in the corner - which made the room feel dark and isolated. This made us feel a little fenced in and would have preferred a room higher up overlooking the courtyard.

Excellent location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby - especially vegan eateries, which served us perfectly. Also a number of supermarkets to buy groceries to cook in the apartment. Room was clean, spacious and with great amenities. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to anybody staying in Cologne.

I can’t really complain. The only minor fault I could find was the salt mill was empty, but that was literally the only negative thing I could put on this place. Our stay was wonderful.

it was centrally located, check in was easy, and it was very comfortable. The welcome kit was a nice touch as well.

As some other reviews pointed out, it was extremely noisy outside. While the location was great during the day, it was a downside at night. There was constant yelling from drunk kids all night long. I walked out of the apartment the next day to all sorts of trash right at the outside entry way and the streets were vomit lined. Not in limehome’s control at all, but made the location not great. Parking was also ridiculously expensive around the apartment as well.

Fantastic location in a vibrant part of the city. Easy access to public transportation. All the furnishings were modern and of first-rate quality. Huge windows with a balcony and a nice view (we were on the 5th floor). Bed was very comfortable. Provided a number of nice smaller amenities (e.g., surge protectors, drying rack, good number of hangers in the closet). Cool online system for doing laundry, which contacts you when the washing machine and dryer are ready.

The only minor hiccup was getting the door code when we arrived. There were some issues with the IT system, which took about 15 minutes to resolve. The IT staff responded right away, and there was a nice cafe right next to the front door.

Detailed information was given for check-in. The room was spacious with a convenient kitchen for cooking small meals. Lots of useful touches like salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar as well as some cute welcome gifts. Location is pretty central, about a 20 minute walk from the cathedral and 5 minutes from Köln West train station. WiFi worked great and there's a small room with washing machines and dryers in the basement for €2.10 a go. The staff are only a call away and super friendly and helpful if anything's needed :)

If staying more than a couple of days would be make provision for rubbish disposal and top up on toilet roll. A quick call solved it. Just an idea for improvement.

Very cosy and clean studio. The welcome gift was the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it. The studio was very big and nicely equipped, only the dish sponge missing. Near the metro station and 10 min walking distance to the centre of Köln.

The bed linen were too hot, maybe it would be nice to have lighter ones. Also the room was a little hot, but for the price it’s okay. The fridge made a little noise during the night, so I always turned it off.
