We had a really nice and comfortable stay at this charming, family-owned hotel in Rodenkirchen. The owner is incredibly friendly and made the experience feel personal—definitely an interesting conversation partner! The breakfast was good, served in a cozy dinery, and the room was decent and comfortable. The location is fantastic—Rodenkirchen feels like its own small town, with low buildings, plenty of shops, restaurants, and a beautiful promenade along the Rhine. It’s also very easy to get to the city center, with just a 20-25 minute ride by tram. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay in Cologne!

Exceptionally lovely staff. They were responsive and waited for us to reach before closing the reception for the day. Ms. Pedra was lovely and suggested things to do, places to visit, and recommendations for restaurants. With parking spaces available at a cheaper price compared to other places, it was easy with a car.

It is a little away from the city centre, but the tram station is close, so you can reach the centre in 25 mins. Rooms were not heated up before arrival, so it was pretty cold initially.

Abit difficult to find the hotel parking which was private but still had to pay €9 per extra. Bed was abit hard for me . No tea / coffee kettle in the room and no where to get a drink without going out to a pub or Restaurant . After 350 km drive a cup of coffee would have been nice.

Friendly service, nice bed. Good breakfast, but the absolutely best coffee I had in ages!! My compliments. The hotel is located in central Rodenkirchen, so it is an absolute gem. I personally loved the style of the hotel.

The rooms could do with an extra socket or two, but this is probably due to the age of the hotel.

Small but cozy hotel, with an extremely kind and helpful staff. The bed and the pillow were very confortable. The breakfast is not very diversified - keep in mind it's a 3 stars hotel - but it was good and fresh, and the dining room is very nice. The wifi is strong and steady. It has a small (paid) parking, which is vital in this area of Cologne for those who travel by car. In the same street there are pharmacies, coffee shops, restaurants, ... The price was pretty affordable, comparing to other alternatives.

I couldn't find the AC, so I had to keep the window open, which, in the Summertime, can be a problem. In the Spring, however, was perfectly OK.

Cozy small hotel, wonderful hosts, great value for money. It is close to public transportation so you can easily get around, in a quiet part of the city so you avoid noise at night which is perfect. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. All in all I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was delicious and at a convenient time frame. The location of the hotel is in calm neighbourhood with nice bakeries, shops, and a local market for a full german experience. The room is spacious

Good location, a 15-minute tram ride away from Koln city centre. Provided lovely local fresh bread in the morning.

Check-in times are very tight as it's a family run hotel.

It was near the tram, a lovely little suburb with facilities, and the motorway. There is parking available. The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful

Great staff and always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to sort out any issues that you had.Also hotel is great value for money
