Loved the conversion from monastery to hotel. Very classy. Really liked opening the window to see the garden and there is no need for the fan when you can open the window wide. The bed was good and the bathroom was nice and clean. Over all a nice room in a good location out of the busy center but still in a great lively area. Close to the river and in an area full of nice shops and restaurants and cafes.

Only little things. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was too high and too far away to use. Only one plug next to each side of bed, luckily we had extra connection sockets with us. Unfortunately we had little choice with our dates and there was a gaming convention in the city so this was the MOST expensive hotel room we have ever had! As such we couldn’t afford the breakfast too, but the room looked beautiful . I would go back under normal prices.

Everything was nice. The room exceeded my expectations, we had a beautiful inside garden view from our room. Definitely, I will recommend this property to my friends :)

If you are travelling with your friend, an open bathroom and toilet can be an issue.

Room are small but very well designed. You have all you need for a quick stay in Cologne. The Hotel is well located with Tram next to it and many restaurants in the surrounding.

No Air conditioning. It's not an issue for me but I can understand that it can be a blocker. The elevator had a small issue one day.

Really friendly staff, I had a cosy rooftop room which was lovely, very quiet so I could sleep well! Excellent location within walking distance of the cathedral and city centre and just what I needed as a base for exploring the area around Cologne.

The showerhead was fixed much higher than I could reach and so the stream of water didn't actually go on me but instead soaked the floor, it felt unfair for the cleaners and as a vertically challenged person, it was more effort to shower than I appreciated! It'd be great if these were height adjustable.

Great place with unique style. Breakfast room is lovely with original features around the hotel. Room was compact and very practicable. I liked it although no air conditioning the Dyson fan was fine. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was ok for a local neighbourhood with a short walk to the shopping street or the tram stop.

Depending on the tram times it did take a while to get back to the main station. So leave plenty of time when departing.

Exceptionally clean and very nice. I really liked the breakfast. It was pretty rich - vegetables, several kinds of cheese, eggs, pastry, cereals etc. All the facilities were very comfortable and nice, well preserved. We got the 4th floor with a wonderful view and a big balcony.. The room was very spacious with a polished wooden very nice floor. I was very satisfied with this hotel.

A bit away from U Bahn. You need to walk around 8 min. And because it's not in the centre, as actually it is honestly declared, you need a tram. But it's only 2 stops ride - 3 minutes.

The room is clean and enough space for displaying two small luggage. Bed is very comfortable. Staffs are super friendly. We were early arrived but they still able to offer us a prepared room.

The wifi connection was not so good, ground floor room can hear the street sounds cleanly. Bathroom in the room is without wall above, so the sound of the pooping is loud and clear 😂 Luckily my friend didn't mind.

The hotel was slightly out of the City centre which was ideal as the Karneval was on. The location is very typical of north Germany so great to experience this. The young lady working reception on Sunday 12th evening, (slim, brunette) was really helpful and cheerful when getting my wife some English tea bags and serving drinks at the bar.

You will hear the church clock chime if you are a light sleeper and facing the church, I liked this.

It is a beautiful building, and the breakfast room is amazing with a stained-glass window. Lots of choice for breakfast, hot and cold food. Room was comfortable and we received a free upgrade when we checked it which was a lovely surprise. The day we arrived I was not feeling well, and they managed to arrange an earlier check in for us. The room was really lovely with views on two sides.

Not really a criticism, but the house keeping ladies were around very early, and were particularly efficient, so there was not much time between breakfast and them being around doing the rooms. They did a great job, but we did feel slightly rushed if we wanted the room cleaned!!
