Friendly and responsive personal. The room was as described and as pictured, clean. The check-in went fine, the WIFI was working perfectly. I received a quiet room as requested, did not hear the neighbours during my stay. There was an airconditioning, that I used a bit to lower to temperature just before going to sleep.

The only minus point was the absence of curtains in the small window facing East. The sun gets up before 5 AM, so I managed to build a sort of blinds with newspapers and tape , but going over to these kind of provisory solutions should not happen, this is a contruction failure.

Very warm welcome on the arrival, we came 3 hours earlier and there was no problem letting us into our hotel already. Very friendly staff. Really clean and comfortable room. Our room was on a third floor and it was like apartment blocks really, which was good, as normally in hotels the walls are paper thin and you can hear people even whispering in the room next to you, this was not the case and it was nice to have a proper privacy. Good location, within walking distance to all major attractions. Would definitely come back!

There was a kettle in the room, however, no cups or sugars, but it was not a major issue as we always bring ours ( I believe maybe if I asked it would be provided but as I said we brought our own so not a biggie for us)

I was on Room Only Basis. Staff very friendly and helpful. Even for my visit purposes the Location was a bit far away, for those who want to visit Cologne for Holiday is Good. Metro is just few metres away from Hotel, and it runs to the centre frequently. Room was very clean all the time. If you're travelling on your own I would still go for a double room due to room single room size, ( which is still comfortable).

Nothing negative to write about the Hotel.

I had a very tiny, but cosy room. The balcony was a great plus. I also really appreciated the coffee/tea maker and the little fridge. With this it was no problem for me that the hotel did not provide any breakfast.

During my five day stay I had no room service. Generally, I am fond of not to much room service, but once in five days would have been fine. I don't know if one has to explicitly ask for the room service. This should be definitely communicated by the hotel ow this is done.

The location is convenient and very easy to get around. The location of the hotel is next to a metro station and many nice breakfast places. We went to my sister's favourite "Hommage". There are also many shops nearby and it is easy to park in one of the underground parking. It is also next to some clubs. I would have loved to check them out but my travel companions were not in the mood. The room was very comfortable and clean. Well taken care of. I liked that it was a bright room! There is a nice balcony and a big window so we kept the window open at night.

It was a bit noisy at night in our hallway with people coming home and speaking very loud in the hallway. That is not the fault of the hotel, just the people that were there that night. The street is rather busy at night too with traffic and cleaning in the morning. My brother had a soft bed, we had a hard bed. My boyfriend was very happy, for me it was too hard. It is always a thing right? Nevertheless we all had a good night sleep!

Excellently located hotel around 15-20 mins stroll from the HBf and close major U-Bahn station (5 mins walk). Good amenities adjoining the hotel. Decent sized rooms for this class of hotel. Big double bed. Good fast WIFI. Very friendly reception staff.

For some reason no side shower glass screen in my Room 403 which was not great. Not sure if missing door or designed this way. It means a very wet bathroom floor! I didn’t complain as just here one night but if this is general in every room it needs to be addressed. Also the stool in front of my desk was in extremely poor condition. The base was missing making the stool unstable.

Great location, room was pleasant and the staff were very friendly. Really easy to get to using the train system and there is a little shop next door which sells anything you might need. They don't do breakfast but there is loads nearby which means you get to see the sights. We went in December so usually ended up getting something to eat at one of the many Christmas Markets

The room had kettle and small storage of coffee, tea, so that we could had one after late arrival. The staff is nice and friendly. The hotel is located relatively close to the attractions: old town, cathedral, harbor, etc. - everything in the walking distance.

Our room was very hot, no matter what temperature outside, there was a portable air conditioner, which partially helped.

location was fantastic. literally a few hundred yards from Friesenplatz tram stop, with really easy access to city centre stops

the ONLY complaint I would have is the fact the room was unbearably hot when we arrived. We turned off all the radiators, but it didn't seem to settle. the lack of air circulation around the room was a bit annoying. BUT Do not let this put you off, this is easily fixed, and the hotel itself is really, REALLY nice!

The hotel team is great! they were pleasant and officiant. the rooms were clean, shower was amazing! and perfectly clean. the staff helped us with all of our requests, and made our stay very pleasant. it was perfectly located for public transportation and surroundings.

after our first day of arrival, 9 rooms, suddenly the complimentary coffee machine was "defected" and was not fixed for 5 days. on the day of checkout, magically it was fixed. left us with a slight disappointment
