For some reason we had breakfirst together with ibis styles for four days. Very good buffet and nothing to wish for. It took just 10min by foot to reach the building where the training took place. I liked the walk-in-shower. Even a very nice shampoo was available. That part of the room has been disigned very well.

On the last day we had breakfirst in the ibis budget. "Only" two choices of coffee, no scrambled eggs, two different jams instead of 4.... you could see the difference to ibis styles. However, it was still good. The TV set is placed too low on the wall. You need to be carefull when walking by. You might bruise your ellbow. The TV is facing the bed but you cannot watch TV lying down. You need to sit in the bed. The chair is ok for working on the littel desk but not comfy for watching TV. And as that furniture can only be placed next to the bed the angle towards the screen is bad. Perfect only for people going into town every day or working late night.

great location. restaurants nearby. bi-lingual, friendly staff. grocery store across street. 15-min drive to Mainau. 5-min drive to Konstanz. AIR CONDITIONING was great in the rooms. VERY secure hotel. you need room key to use elevators and you can only access your room floor, no other floors.

breakfast was minimal. only breads, cold cuts, cheese, tomato, pickles, cold cereal, milk, coffee, and orange juice. no fruit, no water, no eggs, no sausage, no bacon etc. when garage gets full, parking is challenging. no toiletries in bathrooms only shower soap.

Realy friendly and helpfull stuff at the reception. The rooms are perfect for a short stay and good value. Simple but sufficient breakfast buffet.

The parking situation was really anoying. Be aware, that the underground car park has only very limited parking lots and also there are only a few lots in front of the hotel. Don't drive away, once you got a parking lot, because you won't finde another later.

The breakfast was simple but good enough to satiate us. The hotel was a bit outside the city center but within walking distance. The hotel offered free bus tickets and the bus connections were good. The staff was helpful and willing to speak english when my german wasn't good enough. The AC kept the room cool.

A mini fridge in the room would be a nice addition.

Room was OK and clean. Hotel is close to a bus station, ease to drive to downtown (with the free ticket received after check in). Walking the along the channel to downtown was also nice. There is one supermarket close by and a delicious Italian restaurant (Pizza Flitzer).

No wardrobe and no fridge available. Bed over the king bed is more annoying than practical.

I did not have enough euro currency with me and card payment didn't worked, so I could not pay for the whole 11 days stay. Instead I paid for 4 days first. The reception could have booked or suggested to book my stay for the next 7 days, after the first 4 days. Instead they assured that the availability is good and you can contact reception when you have money. When I went there after 3 days, they told me that the room is no longer available and I can shift to ibis styles. Although, they were cooperative and helped in keeping my luggage at the reception during shift from ibis budget to ibis styles. But it did cost me more money at the end, which could have been avoided.

The bedroom had the perfect amount of equipment for a short stay: TV, shower, hairdryer, some coat hangers and a desk. All was super clean, and the lights of the bedroom were easily controlled from the bed.

A bit too dark in the room: no light at the center of the room and only near the bed and corners. I would have appreciated a lamp on the desk in this case.

Location and staff are very good. Room is also quite clean.

Room was small. But is a good variant for its price

I liked everything. Room was neat and clean. Cooling system was perfect. Bathroom was very nice and sufficiently spacious. Room covered every basic need. Good value for price.

Bathroom had no locking system. I found that odd. Other than that everything was very nice.

Always a consistent standard. Good facilities and good value for money.

The air conditioner wasn’t working, and it was uncomfortably hot and humid. IBIS moved us for our 2nd night.
