The deluxe room which we stayed in overlooks the river. It was quiet and peaceful and large room. Breakfast was good and the staff serving at the breakfast area was very efficient, polite and smiling.

It was further from the Old Quarter although it is walkable to the Old Quarter. As the property is in a residential area, there are not many restaurants around the vicinity and have to walk to them. No supermarkets or shops near the hotel Hotel charges Euros 23 for the parking outside near the hotel and for its underground parking. There are a few free parking lots along which we were fortunate to get.

Beautiful decor and lake views. All the amenities and services you should expect from 5 star superior, great breakfast in lieu of buffet - hot food cooked on order and an etagere of mixed items plus baked goods. Orphelia restaurant was amazing food, service and decor too. Comp mini bar was also a nice treat even though we didn’t use it much, LOccitane products in the bathroom also a delight.

No iron or ironing board in room and a fee to get housekeeping to do it. Our friends had a coffee machine in their room but we didn’t. Towels are a bit thin for 5 star superior. Location is on the lake but it’s a decent walk in the cold from the old town - 10 mins or so. Parking a bit pricey too (23 euros a day), would have been nice if this was included in the room rate.

Everything! Fantastic staff, absolutely stunning hotel. Very tastefully designed/decorated and sitting on a piece of paradise.

The eggs Benedict was not so good. They were so good a year ago when we last stayed there but have to say the cooked food that came out of the kitchen this time at breakfast was not very nice. But everything else was delicious!

It’s beautifully situated and well located. Our room had a terrace with partial view of the lake. The staff were excellent- highly responsive and thoughtful. The breakfasts were superb- including service. The dinners were also wonderful. Understated elegant interiors. Incomparable room service.

Decor, location, breakfast, attention to detail and excellent form meets function layout in rooms. We stayed one day, would return despite the big minuses, that could be incidental in a one day stay (if repeated, would not return.)

Being told when booking that there would be no view of ongoing construction, and there was - deceptive. Being offered to park in the garage for free as compensation - incompetent.

Great location by the lake, short nice walk (10-15 minutes) to the city centre, very friendly staff, very goo breakfast, amazing interior. Pool & terrace with views to the lake were absolutely stunning. Luxurious but relaxed and down-to earth atmosphere.

The extra bed was not very comfortable. But that's the only thing, everything else was wonderful.

Fabulous hotel, located on the water front with great views and easy walk into old town. Wonderful rooms, with excellent facilities and thoughtful offerings to guests. Lovely swimming pool on roof and useful underground parking.

Incredibly comfortable property set along the lake in a leafy neighborhood a short walk to the old town. Great restaurants and spacious, smartly designed rooms with balconies.

Great location to walk to town and good secure parking. Lovely restaurant. Breakfast outstanding.

Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room would have been great.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful to me and my young family. They made it a very pleasant stay.
