The location is really good, there's a parking close by. The staff is very friendly and the building is wonderful. The breakfast, even with some restrictions, went pretty well, we were really satisfied overall.

We had a small issue getting there at night. They have a system to pick up the key with a code that they send you, which is pretty smart. Unfortunately it didn't work so we needed to call a number (very visible and easy to find) and a person had to come and help us. It took a few minutes (like 10 or 15 min) and everything was solved quickly.

The location is excellent: accessible by car on the edge of the pedestrian zone in the Old City. In such a location one must be ready for some street noise at night. The building is historic, with many fine details on the exterior and on the ground floor. At breakfast, the buffet offered a wide variety of good-quality foods. The bread selection was especially good. Tickets for public trabsport are included in the daily room price.

There is no air-conditioning and it was quite hot. The fan provided was effective and nearly soundless. Affordable parking is located across the river on an open, ungarded lot. Thi is accessible by bus.

Every member of staff is a real credit to this old and historical hotel. From the reception staff, the breakfast staff and the cleaning staff all were awesome and super friendly and helpful. Just the older lady with the blond hair ( maybe the manager ) chose not to speak with us. We had an issue with our room but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Asked at reception for a kettle for the room and they were more than happy to provide one for us.Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice and nice fresh produce . A beautiful old,but comfortable, hotel in a lovely quiet spot , would highly recommend to fellow travellers.

Nothing to dislike

It was exciting to stay in such a wonderful old building which valued the past but had modern facilities.the painted frescoes on the exterior and the stained glass windows in the breakfast room were amazing. The bed was comfortable, except we can't get used to the very soft Swiss pillows. Beautiful waterfall shower head but did find the step up to get into the shower was a bit hard for us oldies. The breakfast was sensational - everything one could wish for. Loved the passionfruit juice - a new taste experience for us. Location was close to many eating places and the harbour. A fan was provided to keep us cool on the hot days we were there. Had trouble getting my credit card to operate on checking out but the lady in the office sorted it all out.

Apart from getting in and out of the shower, we have no other complaints.

Great location just a short walk away from the harbor and everything I wanted to see. Lavish breakfast buffet in a very picturesque old-school dining room. Comfortable room. As a side note, I don't usually watch much TV while traveling, but one night at the Graf Zeppelin I was happy to see the TV and remote worked, so I could channel surf German TV for a while. (In my experience, the TV reception or streaming at most hotels is usually hit-or-miss.)

The room was a bit hot during a heat wave in Konstanz. Maybe the staff could offer portable fans during heat waves.

The hotel itself is a beautiful historical building with some well preserved interiors. The room is kept simple and functional, comfortably warm in the winter. Breakfast buffet is great. Staff are nice and helpful. Location is perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, and train station.

1.) One of the sliding glass doors in the shower kept on rolling off its slider, pulling it shut felt like the whole thing was going to fall off. 2.) We were sleeping in the early afternoon when we heard a loud knock and the door flung open before we got the chance to open it ourselves. Note that we didn't leave the "please make up room" sign on the door.

Hotel is close to the town center in a quiet location. The main foyer & lounge is a beautiful old room with traditional dark wood panelling and stained glass, with well designed modern furnishings. Breakfast was fantastic, a wide range of tasty food available. Gluten free cereal was available and gluten free rolls were provided for my husband. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Our room was a bit dark as it looked out over a small inner courtyard, and the bed was too soft for me. The bathroom was very small. But everything was clean and in good condition.

The staffs in the front desk were very kind and supportive. They were always greeting that made us comfortable. I especially want to appreciate that they let me keep my luggage there for another day after check out

The one who is in charge of checking for breakfast was kinda weird. He suddenly came to us while we were eating, and told us that one of us is not allowed to eat there. It was because he misunderstood our room number as he did not know what 7 is in English or even in German😅 We corrected him, but he just went away without any few words of apology. It was just kind of funny happenings, but we did not feel that he was being respectful to us. I hope others would not experience it :D

Beautiful old building with comfortable modern rooms. Nice location for walking to every point of interest and the lake. Parking garage close by but not cheap. We bought the breakfast when we purchased the room which was very affordable. Breakfast was very nice including bacon, sausage and eggs, unusual for much of Europe. We were on the top floor so it was very quiet but there were a set of stairs which would be problems for some. Bed was very comfortable so a good nights sleep.

It would be nice to have hot water kettle. Other than that, everything was very nice.

Comfortable and clean and in a great location. Very central and a walkable distance to the main city area and Lake Constance, near a lovely bakery, coffee shop and the train station. Staff in the reception and bar area were very nice too.

The room was a little small and a bit dark, as our window faced another wall and the lift in the building. Our shower door was a bit difficult to use as you had to balance it in a specific way on the edge of the bath, but it wasn't a huge problem.
