Within 10 to 15 minutes walking from the main station and to the old town. Friendly and very helpful staff at reception. Brightly decorated, good sized room with good storage space and quiet aspect as the hotel is away from through traffic routes. Spacious bathroom with good storage space and easy to access shower with good pressure and temperature.  Very good buffet breakfast with good selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads, cheese and meats in a brightly decorated breakfast room. Noteworthy teapots with neat handles.

External window blinds couldn't darken the room sufficiently. Shower on/off and temperature controls difficult to operate with wet hands.

The staff was very friendly at check in and the rooms were very nice and easy to get to. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to change temperature of room. Front desk staff provided a lot of info and there were affordable vending machines. Location was good and easy to walk to most of city. Also able to easily get cab through app and food delivered through apps.

The location area is east to find but the actual hotel is harder to find - sometimes google maps would just show the area and not the hotel and it is on periphery of university. The lobby and front desk closed early but it didn't cause any issue with check in but I see how some people with late flights or trains could have trouble.

Books everywhere. If only I could read German but the atmosphere of books was wonderful. We were given a special Christmas treat for each of our rooms. The parking was great. One of our ladies is handicapped and to be able to take the lift straight to the car was a bonus. Restaurant recommendations were good. Breakfast was good. Do not take the Hop on Hop Off bus. No hopping off and on and all in German with no headsets and no heat. The Christmas market was our favorite of the whole trip. The florist shops in Leipzig are wonderful. Visit the St. Thomas Church.

Was staying in Leipzig to visit both the Opera Festival and family. I booked the Junior Street and it was all that I expected and more. The location of the hotel is excellent being very quiet but a 5 minute walk from the city centre. I LOVED my room. It had a lounge and kitchenette, dining table and seperate bedroom. It also had a spacious terrace with comfy seating. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was the comfiest I'd ever slept in in a hotel. The breakfast room was bright and airy with a mainly continental buffet. The food was good. Being an avid reader I really liked the 'book theme' ... there were books everywhere. There is no bar at this hotel but there is a vending machine and a small seating area inside and outside Reception. The suite had a fridge and coffee machine. If you're looking for a souless, large hotel this is not for you but if you want a small, friendly and great value hotel I would highly recommend. My suite cost a similar price to many of the double rooms at the larger hotels in the city. My friend stated in Standard double room and had no complaints.

We were staying in a heatwave. Aircon might have been a benefit but I had a portable aircon unit and electric fan.

Great hotel theme around books and printing, I loved the murals both on the outside wall, and in the bedrooms. Staff were very nice. The reception had a cosy and comfortable corner to sit and work or meet in. Great breakfast in a nice and comfortable room.

The checkin with a very buggy app was ridiculous, it took me four attempts to finally get my data in, it asked unnecessary questions, and in general the app seemed to be designed to deter the user. Note it was the app that was abysmal, the staff remained nice and friendly in spite of my increasing frustration.

Pleasant smaller hotel on the edge of the center. Very quiet, good and safe location, clean and well furnished rooms, comfortable bed, spacious equipped bathroom, also very nice staff. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The room could have a fridge and kettle. Also parking for 12€ (garage) is bit expensive, there are cheaper and possibly better options in the center.

The location is top. It's just 10 minutes walk from the main station. The room was sparkling clean and the staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is very good.

I had a single room with two beds and can only use one, so it's a little bit comfortable. Although, I understand that it's said in the booking that single room with two beds.

A nice, book-themed hotel. True to its name, it had several books available for perusal in the rooms themselves and on the corridors. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, the location was very good - the city center and the train station were within walking distance, which was a huge drawing point for me. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed staying at the hotel. If I visit Leipzig again, I will definitely stay at the Book Hotel.

Perhaps more toiletries in the bathroom, such as body lotion.

Clean, comfortable, modern, central, decent breakfast. No dining room but it is near a very nice, reasonable restaurant around the corner on Sternwartenstrasse.

Apparently an extra city tax had been levied since my booking, so I had to pay more than I was told by booking.com. I do not like this kind of surprise.

The hotel was perfect to access the city centre. Lovely clean large rooms, great breakfast and quiet. The large balcony suite was particularly excellent.

When we arrived the map takes you to the parking lot at the bottom of Seeburg Strasse. The hotel is through an archway to the right on August-Schmidt Strasse which we didn't realise. The archway looked private but it leads to the hotel. This information would be useful before you arrive.
