It was just what I needed - nice room, nice breakfast, nice location... Most of the time there's no one at the reception but finding the key (with a lock-box) just outside of the entrance was super easy and everything went smooth.

The room was a little too bright, even when the shade is all the way down there's still quite a lot of light so if you like to sleep in, and need darkness, you should know that. Also it was quite warm days so I was too hot, I should have asked the reception if they have a fan or something - should have thought of it there... oh well :)

The hotel would appeal to anyone who likes hotels with "character": it's in an older building, with attractive "period" wallpaper and a traditional look. Staff are helpful, and make you feel welcome. Room rates are reasonable by German standards. It's only a few minutes' walk from Augustusplatz where trams and buses leave for all parts of the city. Recommended for those who want comfort on a budget!

One constraint of the building is that the breakfast room is rather small. Occasionally, when the hotel is full, it can be difficult to find a table for three or four. The space in my (single) bedroom was adequate, rather than generous, though the big bathroom made up for it.

A very nice and cozy family hotel, simple but with taste. Very friendly staff. Clean room, nice furniture, bathroom is spacious and has everything you need. Nice breakfast with just enough to make you happy in the morning. Located next to several stations (5-10 Min walk).

Quite small breakfast room although the very friendly waiter was preparing the tables very fast for the next guests. But I guess we were there just at a very busy weekend.

The place is clean and comfortable. The single room is basic. No coffee or water in it.

The dropping key from letter box system works, but does not fill u with confidence before u arrive, especially since phone call to find out more about it was answered "sorry, no speak English"

Convenient arrival. I contacted the hotel representatives in advance and they gave me instructions on how to check in when the reception is not open. There is a parking lot nearby, which is very convenient. The room was clean and there was everything you need. The breakfast included in the price pleased me - a large selection of snacks and drinks.

No thrills. Great location, very quiet, 15min walk to centre. Close to a supermarket and allotments. Vey4 easy to get keys with lock box. Felt safe and secure. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly. Nice big room and big shower.

No kettle or fridge or anything else. Little bit loud weekday morns if staying street side. Can see why ground floor rooms may be noisy.

It is a great value for money, with great personnel. The owner is very nice and the hotel is very clean. The personnel is caring towards guests.

One cannot store luggage there after check out time. This would be a great option and the way one of the receptionists addressed this to me was not very polite.

Had a lovely, no frills stay here. Reception desk is not 24hrs but had the key available with pon number to collect. Room clean with basic amenities. Breakfast typical German with cold cuts. Family run, friendly staff. Quiet residential area, close to centre on foot

The building is beautiful, the entrance is impressive. In a quiet residential area near the center. (I am adding two photos from the neighborhood.) The room is very good. The staff is responsive. Very good ratio - price-quality.

It's not in the center of Leipzig, but it's not too far either - within walking distance.

A very good hotel for a "city break" to Leipzig. We were happy with the facilities, the staff, the breakfast, the location and the cost.

Nothing. It is very good value for money. It is a nice hotel in a quiet location but near enough to walk into the city centre.
