Hotel Pension Köberl

This place was the most afforable accomodation I could find as I was going for oktoberfest. Its about 20 minutes away from the city center but its right on the S8 line which made it very accessible to pretty much everything, the bus and train station are right on the S8 line as well, it was easy to get to oktoberfest and Dachau is easy to do on your own as well. The few interactions i had with staff were lovely. As a hostel a usual hostel dweller it was great to have my own shower right in my room as well as a fridge! And if youre on a strict backpacker budget luke me there is a Lidl just down the street which saved me so many times not just in munich but all over Germany.

My only complaint was that I didnt have a toilet in my room but again as someone who typically stays in hostels it wasnt the end of the world

This place was cheap and easy. Close to the major train line and comfortable. The best part of the stay was the staff were amazing, so accommodating and friendly, I would definitely stay here again. We chose a room with a bathroom because I was travelling with my 11 year old, and everything was set up really well.

The directions on the app is the Google maps directions which are pretty confusing. Once you know this place is through what looks like an industrial shop area which opens out to a parking lot in front of the hotel, it's easy to find, but I think the app could give better directions.

Unexpected stop to sleep a bit after too long hours of travel, that turned out to be a pleasurable experience thanks to the attention of the staff... After sleeping, of course.

Google Maps was giving me strange directions (25mn) for a 500m walk from the train station I ended up by mistake. The hotel is protected from the main street by an arched building you have to pass under.

This is a beautiful property! What hidden gem. The grounds include a gorgeous courtyard and the rooms were spacious, clean, extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated complete with flowers painted on the walls. We loved this place!

Everything! Nice, clean, comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, close to the public transport but peaceful for good night sleep.

I liked everything, if I go to Munich again will make sure to stay there .

The very pleasurable check in. Parking free. Excellent value for money. Munich is a rather fequent destination for me and I will sure come back for the next trip.

It is a pity that the coffee machine has not yet been installed in the hall

We came with a group of 3 people so this place is perfect for us. This is a nice stay for Oktoberfest.

Parking will be though, because there are not so many of them
