Really nice hotel. Comfortable, new, convenient location. Convenient parking. Friendly staff. It seems that Friday maybe part of the weekend and that this hotel has a lot of guests that travel for work. There are large companies nearby. It was pretty quiet.

The ventilator motor for the ventilation of the bathroom makes a high tone noise. An inspection opening for the double ceiling was open. Noticed this only in the morning. Maybe a reason why this noise was pretty strong in the night during 30 min. or 45 min.. Provided that you can hear these high tones.

the personnel was super friendly. The room was really big and with modern furniture, with very comfortable beds, a desk, a small table, and a small sofa. The bathroom was also big and clean. The breakfast was good. Everything was very clean. The hotel is very near the station and the city center (5/10 min walking distance) but in a calm street. The price-quality is really really good. I totally recommend the hotel.

no hair dryer in the bathroom (at least I could not find it) few varieties of fruits for breakfast (there were only apples and kiwis)

The breakfast was awesome, especially considering how little I paid. The location was perfect- super close to the train station (which made exploring surrounding cities easy), but far enough that we weren't affected by noise.

The bathroom had a sort of smell to it, partially I think, due to standing water. Flushing the toilet helped with that, but I think that was the only real downside.

Excellent location, big bed for a single with comfy mattress, very clean, good storage space, great shower, lovely shower gel, Most staff were lovely and helpful, especially the kitchen team and the young man on late shift

Advertised sauna was not in use (due to running costs, not because of covid), Pillows too thin Was woken up 8.30am on a public holiday by cleaning staff walking in

Very friendly staff, breakfast is good, two pillows (!!! can't sleep without), price is fair, silent as soon as I closed the window (meaning, the sound isolation works). Overall, can wholeheartedly recommend, which I already did to other colleagues.

There was a good chunk of noise outdoor due to the location, since it's located centrally. Awesome to reach most destinations on a (business) trip, but needed to close the window at night. Was very silent then though.

Really close to the train stration. Has accodomations for those who are checking in past 22:00 (10pm), basically a safe with a code they message you. I personally had to use this due to DB consistent delays. Clean and comfy. Good bathroom. Good tapwater. Amazing price

No ac. No stopper for shaving in the sink. Shower light should be on a switch instead of motion activated IMO. they had mineral water, but IDK if you had to pay for it.

1.close to Essen Hbf, Very quiet being located across the street. ie facing residential area. Also close to cultural quarter-philharmonie, Folkwang museum etc. 2.10 euro breakfast was good. healthy stuffs 3.eco-friendly, get cleaned on the 3rd day

Nice personnel, clean enough. Breakfast was good enough and reasonably priced. Good wifi, very accessible from the train station. Quite area.

The bed was slightly wobbly. One or more legs seems damaged but not repaired. Shower doors did not close properly and allow water to escape at the bottom end.

The room had a comfortable size and the shower was excellent, with great water pressure. The hotel is located near a busy road, but the sound insulation was so good that we could hardly hear it. It was a short walk to the city center, which was great. My wife has allergies, but she didn't suffer from any allergies when we were in the room.

All of the doors inside the hotel close automatically with a loud bang. This woke us up early in the morning; one door banging shut after the other. This will likely not be a problem if you are an early riser, like most of the guests who are there for work purposes. We didn't like the fact that the toilet paper comes from a dispenser which gives you one flimsy sheet after another, but many cheaper hotels have a system like that in place nowadays. Another thing that we didn't like is that the room was called a double/twin room, but there are no double beds in this hotel. But again, this is something we see in many hotels these days, and it makes sense for the hotel, just not for a young couple trying to enjoy quality time on their holiday.

Breakfast was great - just what I needed to start the day. Staff were friendly even though English wasn’t their first language. Price was very reasonable and room was clean and nicely fitted out.

It would have been good if the lounge was open throughout the day and not just at breakfast times.
