Very clean and comfortable. My room was in an historic part of the building and I was especially pleased to see the present owners were preserving this history. It gives the Hotel character and interest. All the staff on Reception were friendly and helpful.

The only thing was the reading lamp by my bed was dull - difficult to read after dark.

Hotel is located on Luisenplatz, that's a great starting point to city-walk Potsdam: you can get to Sanssouci park by foot and see Brandenburger gates right in front of the Hotel. There's a tram and bus stops nearby, along with 'Hop-on, hop-off' buses on the Platz, so navigation to main train station and along the city is pretty easy, too. The hotel itself is nice and a bit old-fashioned , the room was big (we took a suite) with a small balcony and a kitchenette. The bad was comfortable and soft and at our request bathrobes and sleepers were also provided. Breakfast was nice, there was even ice-cream.

Room was perfect and overlooked the Square as requested. Breakfast was wonderul- lots of choice. The Hotel has superb. It has a special ambience-love the pictures and etchings on the walls. Hotel is just 3 minutes walk from Park Sansoucci, its lovely Palaces, Sculptures, amazing history, gardens, Chinese House and wildlfe! There is a restaurant attached to the Orangery- excellent food there after a visit to the Palaces nearby! The Hotel is also just 3 minutes away from the wonderful shops in Brandenburg Strasse with super small independent Shops as well as Galleria Department Store, Alice Cafe, Brax fashion and many others. Lots of secondhand stores on the side streets., Potsdam is so ideal for travel into Berlin too. AlexandraPlatz is just 20 minutes away. Lots of shops there including Galleria-its restaurtant on the 6th Floor is fantastic quality-recommended if you visit Alexandraplatz! Choice is unbelievable and even Gordon Ramsey would be impressed!

slightly pricey for a 6 day trip but worth it in the end!

I booked the junior suit for a romantic get away. The room was very large and comfortable, decorated with great taste, with a balcony and view on the square. It was just perfect. The breakfast was quite nice too.

Not sound-proof but when I stayed there it wasn’t a problem the surrounding and other guests were very quiet.

The location is very good, handy with the parkinggarage just next to the hotel (at extra cost). We were in a minisuite, even had a kitchenette. Comfy beds. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffé is huge, many people from outside seem to go there for brunch. Dogs are allowed.

Perhaps the decor in the room isn’t quite up to date.

Room was very spacious- the bathroom for example was as big as many hotel rooms I have stayed in during visits to Berlin and Paris! From the hotel, the Brandenburg Gate is in fine view of our room on the 1st floor. Breakfast was simply exceptional in range and style! The walls have many fine drawings on its walls that add to the cultured atmosphere of this fantastic hotel.

Just wonderful. Breakfast room was terrific.

I liked everything, but it feels like the old building has been transformed into a contemporary building so though my room was lovely, with high ceilings, nice furnishings, the hallway had some bumps and changes of level that could be tricky.

Excellent rooms and very friendly staffs. The toilet/bathroom is exceptional. The bed is very comfortable.

for the bath tub, there should be a rail to help people getting in and out from the tub. the noise in the morning woke us up (traffic and emergency cars) curtains don’t completely close, so some light can come in

Great location, we had a large room with a great view. Bottled drinking water and bathroom products (even including a hair comb) were some nice extra perks.

Parking in a nearby public garage was convenient, but overpriced.

Great location, very beautiful and comfortable room.

The blinds cannot be closed completely due to their construction. The square in front of the hotel is noisy, so any garbage man is exceptionally well heard by you.
