The restaurant, the breakfast and the biergarten are all excellent. The place is great value for the money if you need to spend time in the Munich area. Spacious parking is available, and it is very close to Sauerlach's train station.

We stayed in summer time, in a room at the top floor. It was hot at night and there was no A/C, nor fans in the room. You are recommended not to keep the window on the ceiling open because of insects (flies and mosquitoes). At around 22:00-23:00 we could hear people at the patio, possibly coming from the Biergarten next to the hotel, they were quite loud.

The check-in was very quick and hassle-free. We liked the furniture and lighting in the room, very practical. The bathroom was clean and the amenities were ok. The breakfast was very good and the staffs were very hospitable. We appreciate the free parking spots provided directly in front of the hotel.

A part of the hotel was under renovation during our stay. So we found the pungent paint and varnish smells on the corridors very unpleasant. We couldn’t use the lift because it was freshly painted but it didn’t bother us, since we were accommodated on the first floor. The pillows were not very comfortable, we didn’t really like the view from our windows.

This is such a lovely place to stay, from the moment I arrived, the front desk Luigi gave me a big welcome smile, great rooms exactly what you need for a good night's sleep. The outside dining area is a real joy, nice and relaxing, the staff clearly enjoy what they do, smiled and chatted, in English and German.

Quick and undisputed room change as soon as we noticed slight remaining cigarette smell in the room. Convenient free parking. Mosquito nets on windows. Very good breakfast indeed. Great pedigree of the hotel, which goes back centuries.

The hotel had a super friendly crew, always ready to help. Plus, it's conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, making travel really easy to centre of Munich. Nearby, there are restaurants serving a coffee and bakery. Car park spacious. Luigi great guy.

The gentlemen at reception were very helpful and friendly especially Luigi, the breakfast was good and plentiful , the location was a bit far out from the city centre but public transport is not far away .Free parking.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Cleanliness at the right level. Breakfast could not be better!!!

The only drawback - every hour in the room you can hear the melody of the clock or the bell of the nearest church. At 6am this music interrupts sleep.

All the staff very friendly and helpful. There were some problems with the room key, but this was sorted out quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was good. We didn't try the restaurant, but the beer garden was handy!

Everyone is so nice, Luigi is just uniquely welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. I have now stayed 5 times and each time is as good as the last and that's as good as the first.
