Located just on one of the main roads of the town, the hotel was easy to find. It has secure bike storage available, which came in really handy. Outstanding were the staff. From reception at check-in and check-out to the waitresses in the restaurant and at breakfast. Everyone was extremely friendly, patient and welcoming. The room was modern yet with a traditional touch. Only negative was the sliding glass door to the bathroom. We travelled as 3 friends sharing a room and as you can imagine a certain level of privacy for certain things are desirable. Great shower and room though, so we were happy overall. Breakfast was fantastic too, fresh fruit & eggs, variety of rolls and spreads and yogurts etc offered something for everyone. Highly recommend staying here & will make sure to come back for longer to enjoy the sauna and spa!

Traditional countryside hotel (the building from the outside is quite a sight), located centrally in Schwangau, right by the Rathaus - that makes it convenient for those using public transport. Supermarket is right across, brewery is 5 minutes walk, a number of restaurants around. Very nice hospitality, excellent breakfast with a lot of choices. Very pleasant stay!

Room furniture could probably do with a bit of update. If your room is facing the front (and you open the window), be prepared for the traffic noise, not that the hotel could do anything about the volume of traffic on the main road :)

The staff by far was the best part about this property. Ms Gabby was a highlight of our trip. remembered the kids names, gave us the best recommendations for the kids (check out the local parks for kids. There is one just outside Fussen with a bridge walk above the tree tops and awesome kid activity. as well as the park near the big sommerbahn slide.). Kids loved these spaces more than anything else! very convenient to the castle area or hohenschwangau, fussen. The beer house about 1 block away was so delicious we went both nights. a grocery store is across the street. The family room is a perfect set up for a family of 4. The breakfast was also a great spread.

The only thing we didn’t like was a foul smell from the bathroom, just of kind of old or stale plumbing. But it was clean enough. The smell did go away a bit over the course of our time there

We were met by the amazing staff at the reception, who were forthcoming and helpful with all of our questions. The room was amazing! Clean, and it had a homely feeling to it. Breakfast was wonderful, and so was the staff at breakfast service. The location is also optimal! It was calm even if located next to a street. You could see the Neuschwanstein castle and the green fields from the balcony! Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would recommend it to anyone! 10/10 would visit again!!

Wonderful location for us to visit the two castles in Schwangau! The staff are wonderful, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! We love our room with the view of the castles and a balcony to look out and see the mountains. The room is decorated nicely and there is plenty of room for the two of us.

There is no refrigerator or a fan for the warm days to cool off. The door and window have no screen so we were not sure if the bugs would come in when we leave them open.

The room was modern, nice and cosy. The balcony had lateral view to the mountains and Castle even though we didn't notice that in the room description, so it was a nice surprise. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant had good food (we only used it once though - last order at 20:30 and we didn't make it in the other evenings). But there are also other good restaurants nearby. The hotel also has a nice backyard with some toys for kids which also worked very well for us.

The room description stated "queen bed + one single" but in reality the queen bed was made of two single beds with quite a big gap between them. The lady at the reception explained that there was a mistake on booking.com information, that none of their rooms has a real double mattress because it's too hard to manipulate by the cleaning staff and that she will contact booking.com to correct the information. They also didn't have that part that fills the gap between mattresses that some hotels have.

very nice room in rustic style, the staff are is very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. We had a problem with the transport to go to the that hotel because we arrived late and no taxis were available there, so, the manager of the hotel, very kindly, picked up us from the train station, and to go back we had a problem and a woman from reception called a taxi for us

everything was excellent, except the toilet that was very cold cause it was very close to the window

It was a nice place with a very cozy sauna area. The restaurant was super cute. The staff where very friendly and accommodating. there is parking for the hotel but not too many spaces. Good breakfast options. They also had a mini fridge that you could buy snacks and drinks from.

The bed was not soft, it was too hard. But I borrowed some extra feather duvets to use to lay on the bed and it made it a little more comfortable.

Our stay at the Hotel Weinbauer was very good. The triple room is comfortable, large and extremely clean. The breakfast was great and the staff was very thoughtful.

We asked for close rooms at the time of booking because I was with my wife, daughter and teenage son, but the hotel did not comply with my request. Also, the single room was not so good and we ended up all together in the triple room.

The cleanliness of the room and amazing breakfast. Most German hotels do not provide fresh fruits or vegetables with breakfast. This one had both, and our stomachs were grateful for that. There was also a spa which guests could use. We had a very short visit and didn't have a chance to check it out, but I bet it is a highlight for those who want to stay.

Our room didn't seem as nicely furnished as presented in the pictures. There was a random tiny room (with no windows) adjacent to entrance of the room, with a crib and an unplugged fridge. It seemed like an odd place to keep a child. And the fridge could have been better positioned for use in the room. Also, the room was not equipped with tea or coffee, which I found strange.
