Breakfast is excellent - however my partner said the coffee was not very good. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very good - freshly cooked with fresh ingredients - and the prices are reasonable. The room was spacious and clean.

The bed was very hard (however not as hard as in another room we previously stayed in, where it prevented you from sleeping) and very squeeky - think the whole bed including mattress needs replacing, or maybe just add a softer mattress topper. The curtains in the room were very thin, so as soon as the sun came up, the room was very bright. They should be replaced with proper blackout curtains.

Spacious and clean room, big private parking, nice outdoor area. Walking distance to the stores and restaurants.

Didn't have a kettle in the room, or common area. Kettle is important for us to warm up the water for the baby bottle and not having it was a bit of an inconvenience. As we arrived after 8 pm, the restaurant was closed and there was no staff around to ask for assistance.

Location is wonderful, it's a quiet village although the highway is next to it. Very convenient that the entry to the highway is right next to the hotel. Breakfast was good, although I missed some more options like cacao for milk and pastries. Staff was very kind!

I didn't like at all the pillows, very very soft as if they were empty, not even putting 2 together was good enough.

We were met with a very friendly staff, the front desk guy made it super easy for us to check in and out. Olivia the maintenance lady were very helpful too. Big bonus they were smiling and seemed so warm and welcoming! It was very clean everywhere, and this is coming from a person with high standards. A big selection of food for breakfast, beautiful surroundings and sitting areas, it was a pleasant over all!

Guests’ parking skills were not something to brag about, since they didn’t park within the lines. Unfortunately it meant not all parking places could be parked at. I managed to get two photos late morning. If you want to be sure to have parked your car at the hotel, be mindful that it might be full occupied in the evening. My mom and I felt somewhat uncomfortable when we experienced elder german women guests, starring at us with frowned eyebrows and tight lips. We minded our own business but to those guests we didn’t seem welcomed at all. And yes, we can understand and speak German. Totally a surprise for the women that didn’t have anything good to say in German about mom and I.

Breakfast buffet was excellent and the room, although dated was comfortable. Good parking facilities and relatively easy to locate. Near to restaurants.

On arrival there was no staff and our keys were left outside in envelopes with our names on it. The sign indicating this was in German, and since we don't speak German didn't realise. Luckily, another guest pointed this out to us. A tip for the staff, just write an email to guests arriving on those days where there is no staff on site. Alternatively a sign in English because it's an international language.

Very nice staff, small family run hotel in German tradition, nice restaurant with local traditional German menu, quiet rooms in extension in back yard, english is OK

Close to the Autobahn exit! The staff was wonderful. the restaurant served the best food I eat on our 6 weeks vacation! And we even get breakfast doggy bags because we left early!👍🏻 If we ever need to stay close to Hamburg we will come back!

They should have some family rooms

Both dinner and breakfast were good. The room was OK - a bit on the small side; definitely an overnight room only, not somewhere you'd want to stay for long, but clean and proper. Close to motorway, so easy access.

One waiter was a bit surly, others were OK. The room was on the small side, but OK for the price. Not much room in the bathroom, and especially not in the shower.

I was amazed by fusion of modern things and furniture going back generations. The staff deserves some special attention. They all were charming and so friendly.

In case you have difficulty sleeping at night, highway noise could be annoying.

Good location and easy to find. Very clean comfortable room and a very good breakfast. The gentleman on reception was friendly and very helpful.

The hotel restaurant was closed at 1pm when we arrived expecting to eat in their restaurant.
