The room was super clean. We liked small presents for the days in which we did not require room cleaning as well as complimentary first drink at the check-in. I like the fact that there was an additional bed for my kid. The breakfast was very rich and each morning there was something new - fruit, biscuits, salads etc. Ladies that worked during our check in and check out were very friendly and nice, as well as young cleaning lady. This small hotel was our perfect base for exploring Ulm, Legoland and its surrounding. We felt like at home and would like to come here again. Very good value for the money.

We were slightly worried about the working hours of reception (22 h) as usually the outdoor parking was full, and we had to get information in which garage to park by that hour. The lady responsible for the breakfast is very dedicated and hardworking, but I think there is a space for improvement of here communication skills (comments and tone - still this is hospitality industry).

This particular hotel was perfect. Hard to say what was the best actually. The personnel, very professional, very nice, very helpful. It a shame I do not remember the names to put them here. Breakfast excellent, everything tasty, real juices, home made food. We were happy and satisfied. Sauna - someone gave a thought to this... it is not a random room next to the toilet in the basement, there was everything made how it should have been, proper sauna to enjoy. Room clean, we had nothing to complain. Highly recommended, we will come back. Special thanks to very friendly and helpful staff. Ahh, and when we arrived late evening, thirsty, started looking for some beer or wine, we were proposed greeting drinks :)

I would especially like to highlight the friendliness, kindness and helpfulness of the staff, which is simply superb. The breakfast is beyond what is expected for a three-star hotel, in fact, excellent! It is a small hotel, in a great location, very close to the highway. There is the possibility of using the kitchen with a nice terrace, as well as the delivery of a late dinner for which you get the necessary cutlery and plates, and you have at your disposal a nice terrace with tables where you can comfortably eat. Parking is free. You get a free welcome drink also!

Parking lots are not enough sometimes. Though we can find other public obes ob the road nearby the hotel, it is time-consuming.

We stayed at the Safranberg for 1 night on our road trip through Baden Württemberg. For visiting Ulm: the hotel is bit outside of town, but in fact you can easily walk to the city center (it takes about 45 to 60 mins if you take the nice walk through the park and along the river Danube, a direct walk is about 30 to 40 mins. Parking is free, but parking places could get a bit tight if the hotel is full. The hotel was completely renovated recently (re-opened in spring 2022), rooms are now very nice and elegant. The hotel even offers a shared modern kitchen and has a nice and relaxing garden. Very friendly staff, we were even offered a welcome drink at our arrival - a very nice surprise. Breakfast was excellent and exceeded our expectations in variety of food and quality. Be aware that there is no restaurant in the hotel and nearby proximity. For the price we paid it was superb value.

Hardly anything negative to say.

Well from the start of our visit to the last minute, everything was perfect. But specially a Lady called Ania (Anna) who made us feel so welcome, helped us and made us feel so special. This was the best hotel stay I had in a long time! Can’t recommend this little gem of a hotel enough!!! Five stars wouldn’t be enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Most of all I liked the breakfast: a variety of things, good coffee, i really enjoyed taking a long breakfast there. Apart from this: nice staff, interesting Asian decor, nice view from the window. Close to the center (approx. 20 minute walk). i love that it has a kettle in the room (even if i may have jot used it).

The only small minus about this hotel is, if i could say so, that it is quite compact, with the rooms being quite “tight”, especially a triple room like ours, but also the bathroom, the staircase. But the decor, the cleanliness and the kind staff compensate for this.

Friendly and patient staff, we received a nice welcoming drink even while we arrived late. Car could be securely parked in the garage. Very comfy room, clean. Bathroom very well equiped with rain-shower. Super nice, complete breakfast.

Staff was stressed in the morning. We wanted to know the availability for next week, but were told, there was no time and we should check the website or booking.com

This hotel was a wonderful find, we will definitely stay here again. The attention to detail was wonderful thank you to all the staff for the wonderful hospitality. Reception were wonderful booking a table for us and making sure it was close by so we could walk. Also making sure that we could take our dog with us.

There really was nothing to fault at all the service was exceptional.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are modern and clean. The welcome drink on arrival and good wifi throughout was a plus. We enjoyed the various areas to sit and work and the breakfast each morning was quite nice. The workers were friendly and our stay was enjoyable.

The rooms are quite small and the key to the room is quite inconvenient to carry around (a huge metal weight). We didn't particularly care for the design elements used throughout the hotel but I guess that is up to each one's taste. The limited onsite parking means you sometimes have to park in another area.
