Very stylish and modern room but also very quiet, although the six rooms were in a building in the centre of a small town. We were on the ground floor in Dorippi room. Excellent value. Archanes is a nice town with a lovely main square and some good tavernas. Hotel had a small parking area but we parked in the street outside.

Limited outside space, our room didn't have any dedicated outside seating. We ate breakfast in a small covered lounge area. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, it felt a bit pre-packaged compared to others we have had in Crete. We were greeted by (we presume) the owner but otherwise most of the time there was no staff there, the lady who cleaned the rooms also prepared breakfast so after the initial greeting it felt a little impersonal.

Breakfast was good and the location was quiet. Parking is just on the side of a building and was not enough for a couple of nights so we parked the street. Town is quiet which good restaurants within walking distance and groceries. The staff was friendly but I am not sure the hotel should be open during the holidays if the staff don't want to work during the holidays. Bed was comfortable.

Hot tub does not operate in the winter...which doesn't really make sense. Fire place used a liquid fuel which quickly ran out. Shower needed to be deep cleaned.

Wow! We were very pleasantly surprised by how new, modern, quiet and comfortable this place was. Brand new lovely suites in the heart of Archanes with private parking nearby. Six suites, three upstairs and three below. We were downstairs in a junior suite, great shower. Next time I would like to try an upstairs larger suite. The entire place is beautifully designed and decorated with keypads for outside and room entry. Breakfast was good but we would have liked a little variety by the third day. Archanes has good restaurants and good hiking nearby. We liked it so much we extended our stay by a day.

We loved everything!! We were late getting in from Santorini and our host Donna made us feel so welcome. She graciously showed us around the property which was stunning I might add. She sat with us and treated us with some delicious caramel infused Raki, ice cream and fresh melon. She made us feel at home after a long day of travel. When we entered our room there was a bottle of chilled white Cretan wine waiting for us.The ambiance of our room and the comfortable coconut mat bed was a dream! Every day day they provided a yummy Cretan breakfast. Coffee, yogurt, homemade banana bread, cheese, olives, homemade jam , local honey, and meat. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel was perfect. We even had a spa day there. 70 minute holistic massages and pedicures❤️Effe the owner arranged everything !The town of Archanes was only a 20 minute drive from Heraklion. The town was so charming!! We were given the names of some delicious restaurants . Kritomon was the first one we tried, it was so tasty!! The people of Archanes are so kind , helpful and thankful. I would love to go back again someday!

For a 4 night stay, the property provided only two small bottles of water, advising that we could purchase more at the local market. When in a region that doesn't have safe potable water bottled water should be provided as needed. Of six properties we've stayed in this month, Intropes was thr only one that did not provide adequate water.

very serene relaxed atmosphere. great owner and host. helpful with everything u need from food to places to visit even renting a car she can hook u up. the restaurant is spitika is close and cheaper food that tou cheaper food than touristic areas. close to airport. nice hot tub with serene courtyard seems ideal for couples. free wine fruits, slippers robe. served us coffee and snacks while waiting and mad is check in earlier which was convenient. hard working staff to please guests. treat u like family very welcoming

a bit far from points. public transportation in Crete is nonexistent need to rent car to get to sites and tour. there’s a wine tasting shower filled and sometimes wet entire floor

When we arrived Donna was very accommodating we spoke to her on the telephone and met her the following day. She showed us around and told us about the history of the accommodation. We met the owner Effi who again was nice, we were going for a walk and she offered to drop us up the road. 10/10 for customer service - Donna ❤️❤️❤️ she suggested where to walk and local restaurants. We stayed in the Suite One Bedroom - Stafylos...OMG the interior was modern and unique and the open shower was amazing!! We would recommend Inotropes Boutique Suites!

Small hotel just 4 or 5 rooms. But very nice and friendly. Lots of free items in the room. Nice breakfast. Alternative feeling. Great place. In the centre of town. Behind the wall (good security) there’s a peaceful oasis. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Good base for Knossos. Place to go.

Our room was on the ground floor. On the upper floor would be better I think. The hot tub was not very clean. But who cares ? It’s a bijou hotel with a hot tub.

Very beautiful small hotel with very special rooms!

Due to an emergency we arrived around 8.00pm. Nobody was there anymore. We had to leave early to the airport, so we didn‘t see anybody during our stay. But we got very kind written informations! Parking a bit complicated. With a broken leg the location (walking from car, steps…) and that nobody was there, was not ideal for us this time. But this is not the fault of this - very beautiful - hotel.

A beautifully restored boutique property, with a luxury feel. Excellent interiors with top notch fixtures. The kitchen was well equipped. We reached later in the evening, but check in was super easy with the instructions given. A lovely breakfast with decent vegan/ vegetarian options. Both the owner and the caretaker Donna were very helpful :)

Some leakage in the room on the lower floor, had a residual musty smell.
