Beautiful resort with excellent service. We received a friendly welcome on arrival by receptionist, who helped us complete the arrival forms. We were given a welcome drink. The gentleman behind the bar in the bistro ensured we stayed hydrated (great coctails!). We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The food was lovely aswell as the service. The lovely lady who asked us daily how we were and made chit chat.. was really attentive. We ordered a bottle of red wine, which you can do and they store it for you to have with your meal each night. The gentleman had incredible knowledge on his wines on offer and we went with his recommendation. It was lovely. Cleaners go above and beyond. Felt safe with great covid measures in place.

We stayed here for a week, and it was beautiful and relaxing. Archanes is a lovely, quiet village set in the mountains and surrounded by olive trees - offering a much more serene setting compared to nearby Heraklion. The property is thoughtfully designed and kept in a really clean condition. The staff are a special highlight - Anastasia, Anny, Christina, the two Nikos's and Manos were delightfully friendly and endlessly accomodating. The chefs and cleaning staff were also fantastic. If you're looking to really disconnect and relax, I highly recommend Manili.

Cannot praise this place enough. Absolute bliss. We wanted a quiet but luxurious property to chill out for a week and Manili delivered on every front. Comfortable air conditioned rooms with our room opening out onto the pool. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and always so helpful when asking for recommendations. Quiet little village is a couple of minutes walk away with restaurants etc.. so perfect for an easy dinner. Also only 20 mins in a taxi to Heraklion if you want smarter restaurants and bars. Bar has excellent cocktails and drinks selection too. Iced coffee is also delicious. Recommend Boutari Vineyard nearby for a wine tasting too!

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. The pool area is very relaxing, perfect for a short or long break. We enjoyed having an outdoor sitting area at our Suite but the Bistro was amazing too! There was big variety of tasty and unique cocktails and food. Would definitely visit again!

Amazing brand new hotel with incredible interior design. Staff was very kind and helpful, food and cocktails were delicious. I wish the stay was longer! Beautiful and tranquil location for a relaxing break.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The location is excellent - such an interesting and beautiful area, and a very authentic unspoiled agricultural town.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It’s truly stunning! The design, the furnishings, the staff, it was all wonderful! The pool area is gorgeous! Such a peaceful place. Our room was small (we knew this when booking), but beautifully appointed. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. If you have large suitcases and lots of clothes with you, choose one on the larger rooms or suites. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the Bistro’s vibe, furnishings and food were delightful. Set in a lovely little town, with plenty of great restaurants, a short walk away. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Accommodation is excellent - high standard with a great balance bringing together modern facilities with traditional features. The staff are fabulous - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great with a good choice each day and the bistro serves.very good food - great for a pre-dinner or a final cocktail too! Archanes is a great location - some lovely tavernas and a very local feeling but easy to travel to other areas of the island too - a great base.

There was nothing that we didn’t like

The suite was perfect, the decor was amazing and classy. The TV in the room was bigger than the one I have at home. The pool was perfect, and the staff kept the property absolutely immaculate. The atmosphere is incredible, and the location is ideal.

Our expectation was to fully relax during our stay at Manili, but there were constant construction works around the hotel (i believe they are expanding the hotel and creating new areas) so it was very noisy during the day when we were by the pool. The breakfast was very good but evidently tailored for the North European taste, while I would have loved to see more Mediterranean products.

beautiful design, high quality finishings. Lovely quiet courtyard pool, gorgeous retractable restaurant roof and convenient amenities in room like a fridge, slippers, espresso machine. we were even offered a free upgrade but chose to keep our small room because it was directly on the pool with sun loungers we in practice made part of our suite.

Slight musty smell when the room was closed up, maybe from the a/c. Cocktails were all over €10 which seems high although they looked delicious and the bar is very classy and finished to a high standard. I can’t see the bar attracting much business though with those prices compared to what’s available down the street around the main square.
