The Atheneum Grand is situated about a 20 min walk to the Acropolis, which was perfect. It has a bus stop out the front, and the meteo line is about a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend the breakfast. A huge variety of food is suitable for all everyone. The rooms were spacious and clean and beds comfortable.

This hotel is situated on a major highway type road. If you enjoy sleeping, make sure you request a room on a higher floor of the building and insist you want a quiet room, in the back or in the middle of the hotel. The first night we arrived, it was 3am, and we didn't sleep at all as they put us on a first-floor room facing the road. It wasn't pleasant. However, by morning, they happily agreed to move us for the remainder of our sta and provided us with free breakfast. The rest of our stay, we slept, which was great😉

i like the decor of the hotel, i also liked the breakfast it was the best one could ever get. really liked how friendly and helpful the staff is at reception. they offer help all the time. rooms are just beautiful, very spacious and clean. the bathroom also is spot on so this was a very pleasant stay.

the location its acutally a bit far from the acropolis a few minutes away i think i expected it to be a little closer. well for a 4 star is quite basic compared to 4 star hotels we have in my country but its still very nice i guess i expected way more for a 4 star hotel.

Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was very complete and diverse, only the coffee tasted like powdered instant. The rooms are very clean and quiet.

Just had one encounter with a staff member who asked me to verify my name and room number when I came back from a business diner around 1AM. He was quite insistant as if I was an intruder in the hotel and feels like I couldn't get into my room without that conversation. Might have been because the hotel is situated between 2 strip clubs, but still first time I had such an experience.

Couldn’t fault them on anything, this was a great stay and I’d highly recommend to everyone! The bed was really comfortable, the pillows were some of the comfiest I’d ever slept on in my life - I barely wanted to get up the next morning! It was like sleeping on a cloud. Bathroom was huge! Balcony was stunning also with all the mirrors

It wasn’t too close to all the touristy things but a taxi was quite cheap anyway so it was fine :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate an early check in and offered luggage storage while our room was readied. Staff were also helpful in providing restaurant recommendations and in arranging transportation! A+ for service! The hotel is bright and clean, and very spacious, particularly by European standards.

The location was quite convenient for us and provided just what we needed. The upper floors have an amazing view of the Acropolis! BUT - there is not much for tourists in the immediate area. Be prepared to take a taxi or walk over a mile to most tourist sites. Situated by a very busy road and with adult entertainment venues in the adjacent blocks, the locale may not be suitable for families with children.

The room was lovely and view was great. Bed was comfy and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant service at dinner was very slow. I ate on my own and took over an hour for my meal to come out. Was there for 2 hours total for main and dessert. Would recommend room service for dinner so your not sat for ages at a table. It was also a bit further from the city centre than i thought.

Very clean, courteous staff, breakfast buffet with multiple options (same spread every day, but variety helps if you are staying a few days), spacious room (junior suite), comfortable beds.

Junior suite was advertised as a living room plus bedroom unit. There are no separate rooms, just a single room sufficient to accommodate three people.

Clean. Nice location. Great price. Day time desk staff excellent.

Upon arrival put in a room that had a shower drain smell making whole room smell bad. Front desk told us there was no problem. We disagreed. They told us that they were overbooked and had to put us in a smaller room. The day shift desk manager corrected things the next morning the night desk manager was actually rather rude.

Nice hotel.. staff is lovely and very helpful.. Facilities are decent..

Would love to have a swim pool and some good room decor..

the gym was really pretty awful. I did not want to work out in there as there was not much space and I felt claustrophobic and the equipment was very limited The hotel overall rated so high other than this - but exercise is super important to me so I was disappointed. they really should improve the fitness area if they are going to state that they have one
