I travel to Athens often and would tell that I had the best stay in Athens in this hotel. It was deluxe room at the 6th floor. Quite spacious, with a comfy bed, good sound isolation, ok breakfast and helpful staff. Easy access to metro (direct lines from airport). Some nice museums are nearby. Will stay again for sure

The doors to rooms are heavy and every time you close it, it makes a lot of noise. I woke up because of it. If the hotel management would be able to solve it, that would be awesome!

This is a beatiful hotel, very modern and in a perfect location for the many hospitals and clinics in the area, also very close to the Megara Metro station for sightseeing. Although in a busy built up area the inside was very peaceful and quiet. The bedrooms, we stayed on 2 occasions, were of a very good standard, plenty of storage with fridge and drinks making tray. The beds were very comfortable, although we would have preferred softer pillows. The complimentary breakfasts were amazing, a hot breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage if that was your choice plus a huge continental choice. There is a car park next door for which the hotel offers a discounted voucher 12 Euro a day. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

The pillows were very hard, it would have been good to have a choice.

1. Staff were very welcoming and supportive. 2. The room contained a balcony with an open-able door/window, which was very good for the spring weather at Athens. 3. Amenities included shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, sewing kit, cotton buds, hair cap and hair band as well. Bath robes and towels of different sizes and textile slippers were available.

1. Location is far away from center of city and attractions. 2. Noisy due to the steet vehicles passing by. 3. Cleanliness 8 out of 10. 4. Free water quantity 2 bottles were available for the first night only!

Our room was large with a nice balcony. The spacious room design and the bathroom were the nicest we have encountered during our travels in Greece. The new refrigerator and significant storage area made our five day stay very comfortable as it was easy to spread out and stay organized. From the time we arrived, the staff members at the front desk were welcoming and eager to help us with questions and requests. We arrived early and the huge lobby with comfortable furniture and televisions playing the olympics made us comfortable until our room was ready. Manolis at the front desk went out of his way to help us with restaurant reservations and even scheduled a physician to come to the hotel at a time of our choosing to give us a COVID test required for air travel home. It was so convenient and unexpected. We included breakfast in our reservation and were very impressed with the selection of options that changed daily and with the service by the attentive staff. The second day, they even remembered how I like my coffee and prepared it from memory, making us feel at home. The location is right near many great restaurants, grocery stores, embassies, the metro and a stop for the X95 bus to the airport, so getting around is easy. Even walking to Syntagma Square was relatively direct and picturesque along tree lined streets. Finally, the WiFi is the fastest we have experienced in Greece. No problem streaming Netflix on the iPad.

The room was comfortable for four people. We had the family suite which essentially was two rooms that were connected by an open hallway and a bathroom in between. Everything was clean. Toiletries available for our short stay. The staff were kind and helpful with making arrangements for a taxi to the airport. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot of options. The location of the hotel was easily accessible by Subway from the ferry ports. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed and nice small balcony with chair and table to chillout. Helpful and kind staff at reception. Bathroom equipped with everything necessary. Nice (standard) breakfast. 5min walk to the nearest. metro station (airport line, 30-40min ride to airport). Good choice of restaurant and pubs in the proximity of the hotel.

Window facing the main road (a bit noisy at times). Shower glass box a bit uncomfortable. Room failrly small (but ok of course if just meant for sleeping).

Smart contemporary style hotel just 5 minutes' walk from the Metro station - absolutely ideal! A few cafes, restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby. My room was very clean, fresh and modern with a full range of facilities, including a fridge and tea/coffee/kettle etc. The TV had a number of English language channels. The bathroom was well laid out and the shower was excellent - powerful and hot. Good toiletries and lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was excellent with a superb range of hot and cold items, including some Greek specialities. The Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. I requested a takeaway breakfast for an early morning excursion and it was ready and waiting for me at the agreed time - excellent!

The floor in the rooms is a wooden laminate that is easy to clean but unfortunately also very noisy - I could hear people walking about in the other rooms, plus chairs scrapping on the floor etc. While the bed was very comfy, I struggled to sleep well as the traffic noise from the main road outside kept me awake, even when all the windows were shut. I would certainly recommend requesting a room at the back if you're a light sleeper.

Great, friendly staff, cleaners, front desk, breakfast, restaurant all cared about helping me out. I felt welcomed and happy I was at the Golden Age. A great experience!!

There was little that I didn’t like. I was happy with the gym it suited my purposes. Maybe more gym equipment. Some stationary bikes and another treadmill, nautilus machines. All in all still a very positive experience.

Good position in quite area not Downtown, but 2 minutes walking to Metro station, then 2-3 stops (10 minutes) to reach the hearth of Athens. Furthermore, the Metro has direct connection with the Airport (via Metro), so you don't really need ti take the taxi to reach the hotel from the Airport. Good continental breakfast included in the price. Clean and confortable room, not really large, but sufficient to resting and taking some relax.

The view from the room was in an internal court, not the best view. But if you need a room only to rest and sleep, it's more than enough.

Quality breakfast with a sufficient variety of options. The location is excellent and near metro station Megaro Moussikis (4 mins walk) - 2 stations to Syntagma Square, amiable and helpful staff. We arrived earlier and they gave us a room for early check-in anyways, which we really appreciate. Later the day, they switched us to a new room, since we booked a larger room.

A minor issue was the light in the bathroom in our room (it was not always switching on/ had delays). We noticed later that the sink's tube water was leaking on the shelf below.
