The room was clean and big enough, no noise from outside streets and traffic. Bed very comfortable. Good location, 10min walk from Syntagma. Breakfast was good, but served in small closed space which was is not advisable in times when Covid is exploding in Greece. All in all, this hotel is a good choice and I would stay here again.

Our room was very large and comfortable. The set up for our 2 young kids was perfect, and there was enough space for us to all do our own things. It was a great location, close to many really nice cafes and restaurants and an easy taxi ride to anywhere you wanted to go in the city. The views from the pool and restaurant were lovely. We enjoyed a meal at the roof top restaurant, which was really delicious with unique meals.

The rooftop pool was a highlight for our daughters, but we wished there was a little more seating, especially in the shade. that's the only thing we'd change.

pool could be somewhat heated but it was refreshing. gym needs a little updating. maybe more staff for picking up phones. otherwise a wonderful experience. expanding the pool area for more lounge chairs.

Excellent quality hotel. Nice bars and open space feel. Lifts excellent and fast. Room (7h floor) was a large and well furnished with great views across the city. Staff helpful and efficient when we needed them. Location was good, with plenty of shops, cafes, bars restaurants around the hotel and an approx. 25min walk to heart of the main shopping area of Athens. Good access from the airport.

Bathroom was small and shower over the bath was good but the experience was very cramped and the shower screen leaked onto the bathroom floor.

As I put a lot of emphasis on sustainability, I loved the fact that the hotel is in the UNESCO sustainability network. Also, the pool was great and the gym excellent.

Considering it´s in the UNESCO sustainability network, the hotel should get rid of the plastic containers for shampoo/conditioner etc. as well as provide ketchup and mustard in bigger containers. This is totally contradicting the policies and shouldn´t happen in hotels like that.

This was a great place. We got upgraded into a suite which made our stay even more comfortable. There’s everything you could need in the room including facial soap and exfoliating soap. They have smart tvs so you can watch netflix. The staff were very helpful and professional.

The location isn’t walkable to most places but that’s fine given affordable taxis and public transport in athens. Because it’s a known hotel, it makes it easy to tell a taxi the name of the hotel and they know immediately where to take you.

The Divani Caravel is an iconic hotel that boasts a timeless elegance that I have enjoyed for decades now. 50 or so years ago when it opened the owners designed the hotel with opulent yet classic elements that continue to capture the attention and imagination of their guests. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. I experience such happiness with each stay (including the world's best view of glorious Athens from their treadmills and pool area). I miss it already.

The treadmills need to be replaced or serviced.

I would like to mention that before arriving at the hotel I read some of the negative reviews, but I was happily surprised that the hotel has already improved on the most of the complaints. This shows a sense of responsibility and I liked it. This is why I am writing this review, and hope some minor complaints will be taken care of as well.

Reception staff (one or two of them) try to avoid helping you. For example, one morning we had to leave at 7 and a day before asked if we could get a breakfast box to go. He told that breakfast starts at 7 anyway you get in 10 min before without any problem. But that was not the case in the morning.

Everything is good in the hotel except for the evening reception employee. I do not remember his exact name. His name starts with the letter k and his hair was at the time of arriving at the hotel at dawn. I have a pre-booking online, but he asked me for more money and the way he spoke to us is very bad. I told him that we have a reservation From the company in the hotel to attend the Arab-Greek meeting that was held in the hotel, but I left the hotel immediately after the meeting ended because of my lack of respect by the receptionist..

Observing the evening reception staff, but there is a young white employee who is very young and respectful. He tried to help us with everything, but the other employee, who is older than him, has a little white hair, he was forcing him not to help us

I’ve stayed there many times and find the location and the staff wonderful.

I find the property looks aged. My previous visit had a problem with the AC and the room would not as cold as I would like. The double bed was two twins pushed together and my partner was falling in between. This last visit the had construction banging on the floor above. The pool also is lacking shade.
