The room was spacious, with a balcony. The bathroom was well appointed and roomy compared to other hotel's we stayed in on this trip. We liked the breakfast room with its view of greenery. The staff were very helpful when asked. They also arranged transport to the airport for a fixed rate, which was much better than calling a taxi ourselves, saved us €30!

There was an issue with the sound of toilet flushing between 2 rooms which meant when we flushed the toilet in our room, the sound was very loud in the room next door as the bed head was up against that wall. While the sound didn't bother us, the guest staying In the room asked us not to flush the toilet as it woke him. Note this is an issue for the hotel to sort and we felt embarrassed to have the guest approach us with this request!

Location: The location of the hotel is the best in the city. It is a minute walk from Akropoli metro, which connects you to every point of the city (including the airport). Also, entrance to Acropolis and Slopes is there, a two-minute walk distance. The old part of the city, Plaka, is also there by the metro entrance. On a separate note, the area is calm and quiet at nights; Breakfast: Good variety of dishes for the morning, including desserts and fruits; Each hall on floors provides a filtered water machine and you can refill the bottles (provided in your room) whenever you need. I liked this eco-friendly approach of the hotel.

The only negative thing I can think of is that if your room is next to the elevator, then you hear people not being careful with the door and slamming it upon exiting the lift. But, again, it is because of other guests who are not respectful in shared spaces.

Location is fantastic, walking distance from everything important (Museums, Neighbourhoods, Restaurants, Public transport stations); Staff is really friendly and flexible (front, catering, cleaning); Filtered water on every floor is a good idea, we used it every day; Breakfast variety is above expectations (hot, cold, cheese, sweet, fruits, vegetables, etc.); AC in the room was useful for heating; Bathtub

Obsolate room design, dusty carpeted floor, low pillow, poor soundproofing. After a renovation, the Hotel would be the best value for the price hotel.

I really like the strategic position of the hotel, it was 20 metres from Hop On/Hop off bus. 300 metres from Akropolis and The narrow streets of old town were starting also 30 metres from The hotel. The receptionists were smiling and helpful as well as the cleaning lady. The hotel was clean, the equipment normal, but nothing special comparing the price I paid. The breakfast was nice, but all days the same, so it was ok for 3 days stay, not more. The personal at the breakfast was behaving bit cold, but I guess they were tired after the season.

The only thing which I did not like at all was cucumber covered with mold which I once found at the breakfast bowl. On The other hand it did not happened twice, but I was bit worried to dát cucumbers there.

This hotel could really not have been in a much better location. It was about a 3 minute walk to be able to see the Parthenon, about 5 minutes to the New Acropolis museum and 10 minutes to the Acropolis entrance. It was convenient to so much and we'd stay again. Also, there was the most fantastic conceirge at the hotel, Maik, who gave us outstanding advice and even helped us with a walking-distance sports bar to watch the rugby in.

While our first room (we stayed on two different occaisons on this trip) was very spacious with a balcony and excellent aircon, it wasn't the cleanest and nothing was changed in the 4 nights we stayed.

Close location to Acropolis and metro, helpful and friendly front desk staff, good value, good breakfast and the relatively spacious room. Althought slightly dated, it is clean and quiet. One of the best hotels we stayed in Europe. We wished we have booked this hotel first and stayed longer.

Nothing. Not the hotel's fault, but Uber Taxi could not detect the location of the hotel and made us walk to other locations to board or drop off, which is inconvenient for people with mobility issues. The hotel is located on Google Maps and taxi could reach the hotel if they use Google Maps.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Airotel Parthenon! We give it a perfect 10 without hesitation. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality: they came out to help us with our luggage and offered us water and juices at the reception, which was a much-appreciated gesture after our journey. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was varied and delicious, with perfectly set tables that made every morning start in the best way possible. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the center of Athens, just a step away from the Acropolis. In summary, an excellent experience in every aspect. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Thank you for making our stay so special!

The only point for improvement I would mention is that the bathroom in the room was a bit outdated, with a bathtub that seemed to need some renovation. However, this isn't a significant issue because everything else was really, really good. The room's furniture, as well as the wardrobe, appeared to have been recently updated, so it seems that only the bathroom remains to be renovated. Despite this, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the towels were made of excellent quality cotton. We maintain our top rating of 10 and highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay the best we've had on our trip around Europe so far. Rooms were spacious and clean. Maid was lovely, friendly and patient with us. Location was excellent, super close to the Acropolis, food places, Monastiraki. Breakfast was excellent. On checkout we were leaving super early (before official breakfast start time) and the front desk organised early breakfast (continental) for us in the breakfast room! Someone in our group wasn't feeling well when we arrived, so they organised for the doctor to come. Water and juice in the lobby was a lovely touch. Aircon in the room was very nice. Rooms lovely and quiet. But really, the staff really made the difference, will be the place we remember the most.

Everything was great. If I had to offer an improvement, our pillows were too high, would've preferred softer flatter ones.

The location was amazing. Everything was walking distance. Our room was on the 6 floor, the last level, and it had a big terrace with an amazing view to the acropolis. The room has everything you need. It was clean and nice. The air conditioner works well if you are going in summer. My sister and her kids were in another room and same condition. The breakfast was great! They also had water refillers in some levels of the building so we could refill our bottles. They also had free water and juice jars in the reception so after long walks around Athenas in the hot weather it was nice to be welcomed with this. All in all a great hotel for the price we paid.

The lift went until the 5th floor. Our room was the only room in the 6 level so you just had to walk few stairs. It was not an issue for us as it was just me and my husband, but maybe if you are a family with kids it can be difficult carrying things daily from the 6th level to the 5th level. So maybe send them a message so you are not in the 6th level.

The location is amazing. You’re within a few minutes walk from The Acropolis, museum, metro station and Odeon of Herodes Atticus. There are also many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars nearby so there are always options for places to go! The rooms are just the right size, with balcony, en-suite bath room and fridge, safe, AC/heating and tea/coffee making facilities. The bed we got was Queen-sized and super comfy, although we did have to ask for a couple more pillows, but aside from that we were very happy. Breakfast was fabulous! Many options to suit different dietary requirements and open from 7-10.30am. Everything is kept stocked up so no matter when you arrive, you will not leave starving! The staff were also really polite and friendly and always ready to assist us if we needed anything.
