Perfect hotel location in the middle of the humming city centre. The large "old school" rooms are perfect for a city trip visit and a magnificent dining area is definitely a big plus for this hotel. Staff was very helpful and always friendly.

The diner & breakfast served is good, but could be just a bid better as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. I also would strongly suggest a different music playlist, but that just a personal taste I guess.

The delay at reception. They adhered very strictly to the 3pm check-in time so that at 2.45 there was already a queue while the staff stood behind the desk doing nothing. By 3pm the queue had grown to about 30 people. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel

pool cold and very deep. double bed actually 2 singles . Made u go round to pool instead of thru bar. Gym outside in small windowless room. keys kept failing.

shower was really bad. cord was long from one side to the other messing with my legs each time inshower almost fall down twice

Impressive hotel in a great location. The views of the Acropolis from the roof top bar are spectacular. Ok, the rooms are a bit dated but why are you spending time in your room when there are so many great sites to see! After reading some of the reviews we were prepared to be underwhelmed but we would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend. A great base for exploring the city - it's right by the Plakka, the red bus stop is just down the street, it has views of the Acropolis and a swimming pool. It was perfect!

It took a while to be served at the roof top bar (they needed more staff on) but we had a lovely chat with one of the bar staff and looking at the Acropolis while waiting is hardly a chore. The rooms are a little dated but they are comfy with good air conditioning and the bathroom was a good size.

Excellent location, you can walk to Plaka, Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, hop on hop off pick up point is just a few steps away, food is expensive but good, pool is good, hotel lobby has luxurious feel.

Just one thing - Remember that the checkin is 3 pm and even if their rooms are available, staff told us that they cannot check guests before 3 pm because their system doesnt allow it. This leads to all guests coming in line to check in at 3 so ensure to get in that line at reception at 2;30 at the latest or you will end up waiting for your turn for even an hour or so. Plan accordingly.

The location in Athens cannot be beaten. Walking distance to all attractions, the Plaka, Acropolis, Museums and Sygmata Square. The room was a great size and very comfortable. The view, even in a lower floor was great.

I found it amazing that we were charged 4 Euro for a 600ml bottle of water (that cost 0,40 in the convenience store next door). Hotels all round the world normally supply one or two bottles of water for free. Yet we were given a complementary bottle of red wine?? Water would have been better (although the wine was quite good). Overall, the property is starting to show its age. No power points beside the bed and a TV set that is over 12 years old (no HDMI ports),

The bell staff was outstanding in every way. The room decor was a bit dated but the room was incredibly comfortable. Our room faced the road but we had a white noise app and slept soundly. The location couldn’t be beat! Walkable to great restaurants and all the sights! Breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant and bar was fantastic. We loved drinks at the bar seeing the lighted Acropolis in the evening. The pool was cold which was so refreshing after walk12 miles seeing the sights!

Seating at breakfast. Someone took our table one morning despite our having a drink bottle on the table. I guess he got in without the host seeing him.

Location - Excellent Room - Second room allocated was very good. The first room allocated was not good. Got shifted after complaining. Breakfast - Very good

Room - What was allocated @first had bad smell and when complained, we were shifted. It looked like the staff knew about the stench in the room. The questions remains, why we were allocated that room in the first place.
