What can I say about the Delfini? What a little oasis of calm and tranquility presided over by the lovely Angeliki. Excellent value for money, rooms are tastefully decorated with a homely feel. The beds were super comfy the mattresses are obviously great quality and pillows too. Some of the best sleeps we've had in Greece for sure. Lovely balconies with views of the pines and palm trees. The bathroom was compact but perfectly serviceable with great water pressure and piping hot water. Breakfasts were great, really lovely quality filter coffee, fresh local bread, delicious yogurt, honey, preserves, eggs, cheeses and ham along with fresh tomatoes and fresh fruit and juices. Having breakfast in the wonderful patio garden area surrounded by beautiful pine trees giving their welcome shade along with so many carefully tended planters with beautiful cactus and other succulents was the perfect start to each morning. The rooms, facilities and breakfast alone are enough to give that Delfini a great recommendation but the final icing on the cake is the owner and hostess of the Delfini, the wonderful Angeliki. As soon as we arrived she made us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went out of her way every day to make sure we had everything we needed. It's absolutely apparent the love, passion and pride Angeliki has for her establishment. She was always smiling and cool under pressure when dealing with a full breakfast service, she had some lovely suggestions for things to do on Aegina and always had time for a friendly chat too. Her hospitality is the best we've ever received and we left feeling like we'd made a new friend. Do not hesitate to book your stay at the Delfini, it's simply the best for service and value for money.

There was nothing we did not like about the Delfini

The room was very spacious with a balcony opening out into the trees so you can hear the bird songs in the morning. The bed was really comfortable and the facilities were really good for the money spent. The hostess was super friendly and gave provided us with recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. The continental breakfast had a good selection of items with fruit and yogurt with honey added to the mix. The location was ideal, just 5 minute walk to the Agia Marina beach and nearby restaurants and shops. I would definitely be visiting Aegina again and would like to stay at Delfini.

The Delfini hotel and Agaliki (no idea how to spell the owners name!) were fantastic! She really couldnt do enough for us, from organising car hire to popping down to town for a food order for us! The hotel is very well kept, in beautiful gardens and a COMFY BED!! The room we had was a lovely size. Not small at all - lots of room. Good air con, TV, bathroom great - despite some complaints about the shower on here - we found it all perfect. VERY CLEAN too! Agaliki clearly takes pride in her hotel and it shows. The breakfast was great every morning. Served in the garden by agaliki. We really did have a very comfortable stay at the delfini. Agia Marina is a lovely resort. We visited towards the end of the season though, so it was quiet. There is a bus that travels to Aegina town - very handy. Lots of bars and restaurants to explore in the resort, which is a 10 minute walk downhill going - but uphill back! Agia marina is also very near to Apollo temple - well worth a visit. We rented a car for a couple of days to explore the island and that was enough time. The beach at agia marina is ok. Pebbly at first going into the sea - but then lovely. The sunbeds were an experience. The first ones you come across charge a fortune to use OR you buy food at their restaurant! The second lot - charged 15 euro - and you couldnt eat your own food or drink! The last lot on the beach were the cheapest at 10 euro - but not comfy! We only used the beach a couple of times - in high season, I'm sure it will be very busy and the sunbeds a premium. We had a lovely few days on Aegina and highly recommend the Delfini hotel.

Lovely little place 10 minutes away from the Agia Marina beach. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Delfini very much. The room was generous in terms of space and inventory, the balcony nice. Ageliki, the super nice owner of the place, looks after her guests amazingly well, and has answers to all your questions/querries. Moreover, her breakfasts in the morning are rich, tasty and beautiful. Aegina is a relatively small island, where places can be reached easily by car/scooter/bike, so opting for Agia Marina/Delfini hotel as the base for our few nights stay proved to be a great idea! :)) All things considered, this was a great value stay too. Plus, I could not believe how pleasant the early October weather was - who knows, maybe thanks to Zeus... : ) We will do end-of-season vacations from now on...

All good!

It was as same as i expected from previous reviews. Aggelini is very kind person ready for help in every moment. Room was very comfortable and furniture is almost new what is very rare for whole island Aegina that is stoped in 60', where is almost imposible to find normal room. But just sitting on balcony or in garden surrounded with all of these pine and sea scents in the air is worth of visit.

In august it is impossible to sleep without aircondition, which is very noisy, but fortunately it function. Bathroom and instalations are so old and need good renovation and shower curtain was missing. Island Aegina is greek Cuba, or greek Detroit, so you should expect to see apocaliptic scenes where anything new wasnt built almost 60 years, but Delfini hotel is a bingo!

Wonderful friendly host, value for money and close to the beautiful little beach town. Very clean and spacious, good breakfast in her beautiful garden. Aggelici even served greek yoghurt and coffee before 7 in the morning to us on our last morning, we had to catch an early bus back to Aegena. Thank you Aggelici we had a wonderful 4 days in Delfini Hotel!

The empty buildings around the hotel. Lack of signs to the hotel and name on the hotel. We did not know Agia Marina Port is not working all the time.

Angelika went above and beyond to make her guests comfortable. Made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s place. Complimentary breakfast of boiled eggs, fruit, cake and bread, yogurt was served in the garden. The balcony was good for seeing sunrise. Bed was comfortable. Short walk to beautiful Agios Marinos beach.

Not the problem of Hotel but the ferry stopped running to Harbour near hotel in September (end of summer season) unknown to us so it was a 30 min drive to the hotel from the port. GPS directions to hotel are misleading and take you to back of property. Hotel signage at front entrance easy to miss. Also not the fault of the hotel but the surrounding area has many empty shops/properties which was sad to see.

Very friendly welcome! Propietor made you feel at home immediately. Cozy atmosphere, small building very well kept. Breakfast really good, served with a smile. Very quietly located but downtown after a few footsteps. Down to the beach a five minutes' walk. Great! Easy communication, very friendly and no guesswork - English spoken (and a little German, too!)

Can hardly think of something you could blame the proprietor for...well, deafening cicada noise after 9 am and derelict buildings around are things that go with a Greek holiday. No, nothing to improve without spoiling this little hotel's charming atmosphere!

It’s 10 mins walking distance to the beach. The breakfast was good and enough as quantity, also the quality of the food was good. The owner is so kind, does her best to make sure everything is good. It’s literally in nature, you know take up with rooster and animals all around (many cats)

Not something to dislike per se, just a heads up regarding the up hill to reach to the hotel in case it’s a challenge for anyone.

During my stay at the hotel, I had an excellent experience that I would like to share. The hostess was incredibly hospitable, welcoming me with warmth and making me feel right at home. Her friendly demeanor added a personal touch to the overall experience. One of the standout aspects of this hotel was the exceptional value for money it offered. Considering the price I paid, the amenities and services provided exceeded my expectations. The balance between affordability and quality was evident, making it a fantastic choice The highlight of the hotel was undoubtedly the garden. Nestled under the shade of beautiful pine trees, it served as a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. Relaxing in this serene environment was a true delight, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and affordable accommodation option.

The bathroom is a bit outdated.
