Excellent location. . Good breakfast. Nice gym. The superior family rooms in the second level is great.

The staff was fine, they didn't go out of their way to provide service.. It took them a while to come and fix things in the room - the maintenance of the hotel is not good. The beach services are not private for hotel guests and those who want to keep a beach chair and umbrella have to pay 5 euros every day. Beach towel for a fee of 2 euros. The family pool rooms are very noisy and full of mosquitos

- the staff was super friendly and welcoming - you literally almost fall into the sea when you leave the hotel and the hotel sun beds are clean and comfy - we can highly recommend booking one of the suites with a whirlpool. They are very modern and comfy at the same time - the boutique offers the highest quality clothes and jewellery we found on Agistri and the boutique lady was also very nice

- there was almost always something standing in front of our door, e.g. trash bags or dirty dishes and sharp knifes, which was also dangerous for our little kids Overall, we had a great stay and would love to come back some time.

I loved the quality and choices for breakfast as well as the setting of the hotel and restaurant. The room was very clean and well designed. I had the room on the corner front and enjoyed having the light coming in from two sides. Sitting on the balcony in the morning before everyone was up was my favorite time. The hotel was very reasonably priced. Zena was great.

The room was listed as a suite and actually was not a suite, but a bedroom with a separate space for shower and sink and toilet. Suite generally means a separate seating area. The room was very small. Perfect for one, not sure about two. Being on the front was wonderful because of the view, but loud because of loud, laughing hysterical tourists from the restaurant below as well as music coming from the adjacent hotel and restaurant. If you stay up late, this may not be an issue. I didn't sleep well because of the noise.

We chose the hotel based on the fact that it had a pool. The pool was very small and busy, and there were few loungers, so the hotel selection criteria was flawed. The hotel is literally right on the beach though, and the lack of pool access didn't detract from our stay. From the Skala port it's a couple of minutes' walk to the hotel. From the Myli port it's a five minute taxi ride. It's a good idea to arrange transport in advance, as there seems to be only two taxis (two taxi vehicles, not two taxi companies...), and they're rather busy. The hotel itself is nice. A large veranda/restaurant overlooking the beach. The room was large and spacious. Technically there was a terrace, but facing a wall only two feet away. No ocean view, but we didn't pay for that, so can't deduct points for that. The safe in the room didn't work initially, but it was replaced the next day. The staff was very nice, especially the bar/restaurant staff. Breakfast was ok, filling enough, maybe a bit more variety of bread would have been nice. Would definitely come back, and also recommend to others, but (and even the staff suggested that) rather in September than in July.

Nothing not to like.

Right next to the port and majority of restaurants. Comfortable soft sun beds at your doorstep! Very helpful personnel, everyone made me feel very welcome. Super comfortable bed, good shower, good amenities. The room is stylishly decorated in good natural materials. There is a cloth/accessories shop, very handy if you need something and want to support local Greek designers. Lobby has a very nice atmosphere, feels chick, makes you happy to enter hotel. Agistri is a lovely island, I highly recommend if you like beaches and nature (bike ride along the sea through the hills)

I preferred the other beach a bit a way from the crowds. Also falling out door handle could have been fixed, it’s a shame with such price of hotel but it almost didn’t spoil my overall experience.

absolutely nothing. We stayed in a room with a hot tub on the terrace it was amazing. The room is decorate to a very high standard and looked modern and trendy. Before we arrived I had no idea what to expect. This is not a huge hotel it is small and beautiful

Private sandy beach, with comfortable sun loungers and safe swimming. The food in the restaurant is great, especially the fish. And the staff are so helpful and friendly. I would happily stay again!

We stayed in the Maisonette. Decor is quite dated but I didn’t mind that as I read this in the reviews before I booked, so I was expecting this. The main hotel rooms seemed to have had a refurbishment and are fresh and modern so maybe the maisonette is next on the list. The pillows were a little uncomfortable- quite high and lumpy. I would still happily stay here again- I might just bring my favourite pillow with me!

The location is amazing, a minute from the beach and 5 minutes from the restaurants and boardwalk, yet it is relatively quiet and peaceful. The food was good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is great for families, and the family rooms are spacious enough to accommodate families with older kids as well as toddlers. To sum it up: we loved the general atmosphere of the place. This hotel is family owned and managed and you can feel that they put their heart into it.

Most rooms are wonderfully renewed and renovated. However, ours wasn't, and it definitely needed to be. The wooden floor was cracked and broken in various places, some cabinet doors and drawers lacked handles, the tub cover was loose, there was mold in the bathroom, etc. Again, the staff was extremely helpful and so they switched our room with another family room when one became available, same category but in better shape and with an AMAZING sea view but I think the condition of these older rooms should be mentiond upon booking. Also, the room could use a window and a shower curtain in the bathroom, and there were no vegan options on the breakfast buffet.

It was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We lived in the renovated/new part of the hotel. The superior room is ideal for a family with two children however as a pair we also used well a great space and amenities provided. I could confirm that breakfast is very good. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help with a big smile and positive appearance.

The design of the room is nice however not sure about durability of the materials. There could be more hooks for the towels. The floor of the apartment however was not cleaned daily and I found this disappointing as the hotel is near the beach thus bringing sand in to the room is quite obvious thing.

The staff at Aktaion were super helpful! We arrived ahead of check-in and our room was ready for us - we really liked the bamboo decor in the room and loved the fact the balcony doors had a mosquito net so we could have the doors open in the evening. The waterfall shower was fab and I appreciated the toiletries provided, the nail file came in handy when I broke a nail. The bed was very comfy! The ladies on reception managed to organise a boat rental that we would recommend to everyone visiting the island. The food and drink in the restaurant was great, and I really liked the cooked breakfast options - eggs (scrambled, boiled or fried), hot dog sausages, bacon as well as feta, olives and greek pies! The barman was super friendly, as was the cute dog! The location, on the beach is PERFECT, and the option of the pool is great for those who prefer it. The spa wasn't ready for our stay but my partner had a sore neck and the hotel next door has a spa too so it wasn't a problem! All in all, our stay and the island exceeded our expectations and I will be recommending it to others!

Hairdryer wasn't very powerful Mosquito net was a little fiddly to work The tent over the balcony didn't seem to work either - but I'm grasping at very minor things!
