We always stay here when we visit Lake Kastoria. We love small boutique hotels and Hotel Doltso never disappoints. The breakfast is lovely, and they will make you an omelet or any kind of eggs cooked the way you like it, with bacon if you want. There is also a breakfast buffet and the orange juice is fresh squeezed. The beds are so comfortable and we always enjoy a good night's sleep. We are very picky about mattresses, and the beds are perfect for us. The owner and his wife are lovely people, friendly, speak great English, and will cater to your every need. We always enjoy our stay at Hotel Doltso and look forward to our next visit there. The location is great - restaurants and cafes close by and the lake is just half a block from the hotel. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

I wish we could have stayed longer!!

One of the best small boutique hotels I have visited worldwide. Extremely beautiful, amazing decoration, fantastic service. The owners are so polite and friendly and they provide a breakfast with delicious local products. The breakfast room is so cozy and warm. The elegance and the taste are in every place of this hotel, in every small detail. The rooms are luxurious resoecting the tradition and offer a great relaxing place for an unforgettable stay. The owners had taken care of every small detail. In greek there is a word describing the love and the passion you put in something you really love. The word is "meraki". And this is definitely what the owners have for their property. An excellent stay in one of the most beautiful places in Greece, the town of Kastoria!

Lovely guest house situated about 1 km from the main cluster of restaurants and shops in a good street that joins a community square where there are restaurants. We at ate Kalnterimi which was great. We really liked the local feel of the square. The lake is a few minutes away and there was private parking for our motorcycle in the courtyard which was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stayed here.

The room was hot when we arrived, but we were given a water-cooled fan which fixed it.

Really good location, right on the corner of the old town and a great property. The property was very clean and well looked after. Rooms have everything you need, they also have exposed brick and the bathrooms are new. The Staff were the highlight of the hotel though, they were going above and beyond, were very friendly and polite. They really made a difference in terms of my stay there. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great location . Walking distance to restaurants along Kastoria s beautiful lake.and building was historic. Love the beautiful stone work. Staff super friendly and breakfast very good. Elena cooked fresh eggs daily and Ariri great coffee . Their was also lovely pastry etc

I would have liked a kettle in room to make coffee in the morning. Although we were able to go down stairs and have one made for us in the morning before breakfast .

Hotel Doltso is a great place of a restored old building at a great location in the neighborhood of Doltso. The couple who owns the place are lovely, warm, and their care for the place and the people they host is beyond expectations. The breakfast was great and delicious, and a great boost to start the day of exploring the city of Kastoria. I recommend the place 100%

The hotel is like a mini grand house. Lovely. Comfortable bed and bedding. We were there on a cold rainy day and we’re grateful for the underfloor heating. The next day the weather was beautiful and we borrowed their bicycles to bike around the lake. Absolutely stunning!

Would have liked a bit more shelf space in the room.

The hotel is actually a historical mansion that belonged to the owner's grandparents. It is very nicely decorated, preserving the traditional building design and it has all the modern amenities. The hotel is located in the historical area of the city, just a few steps from the historical central square, with nice restaurants, and 100 meters to the lakeshore promenade. We could park our car just in front of the hotel. Everything is clean, the staff was very nice, and the breakfast was absolutely great. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was outstanding, breakfast very good, handsome building, and helpful staff.

Only thing I didn't like, and it is not a major problem, the room was rather small. However, with a historic building like this it is to be expected somewhat.

Nice boutique hotel located in a quiet street, but very close to the lake and a lively square where the locals socialized playing with their kids and in restaurants/bar. Good restaurants in vicinity. We could loan bikes to cycle around as we wanted. Good breakfast.

Room a bit small for our two duffel bags.
