I loved my stay at Hotel Orestion. The staff are also owners, so they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The hotel is located a few minutes (uphill) from the waterfront/promenade as well as a large public parking lot (free after 2pm until 9am). The room is a good size, and the view I had from my balcony of the local square was simply divine. Breakfast was included and served in the lovely mezzanine dinning room. 10/10 would stay again!

Good location for visiting Kastoria on foot, walkable to all places of interest in the city. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned but that makes it somewhat atmospheric. Our room was perfectly comfortable, included a fridge and a balcony. Breakfast included in price. There are just one or two parking places in front and they are on an inclined street, so parking there was a bit nervous. Anyway, we managed to get one and it was free of charge - a bonus in such central location.

There is no way we can fully express our gratitude to the staff. Aside from the otherwise friendly help, the owner went way beyond anything reasonable. Someone had keyed our car and he went with me to the police station to file the report! We were gone for about 3 hours. Breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. There are couple of excellent restaurants around the corner and the lake is a 5 min walk.

I cannot say enough positive words about this hotel (and Kastoria as a whole). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every way: From assisting with finding a proper parking space to serving an excellent breakfast. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location at the beginning of the peninsula, easy access to the sights and the excellent restaurants and cafes on the lakeside boulevards.

The location is very good*, and we could park just in front of the hotel.The room was a bit tight, but not a problem at all. The beds were comfortable, clean. The breakfast is just fine, nothing special, but far from bad either. And the personnel are great, friendly and always smiling.

The location is just at the main street and it is a bit noisy at night. The motorbike noise is the biggest problem, you can definitely hear the street inside the room.

The room was very clean. We were able to park our car in front of the hotel. The breakfast was also satisfactory. We had many conversations with the owner. He also gave us directions to other towns and was very kind. I recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed it. There were a lot of things you could choose to eat. I recommend to try it for sure.

There were nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect. The hotel was 2 minutes by foot to city center.

Comfort, location, parking spot in front of the hotel

The staff asked me three times why I am not taking breakfast, but did not respond to my question if I paid online or I should pay on site. They had also kept my ID for registration overnight. Only when someone figured out that Booking did not withdraw the money, they called me and asked me to pay and reminded me that they had kept my ID. I needed to make a two hour detour to sort out things.

Great place and even greater people! I've never felt more welcome in a hotel. The owner is so warm and friendly, and the staff is super helpful, and friendly as well.

excellent hotel close to the city centre. the owner let us park in front of the front door in order to protect our motorcycles. he even helped us to transfer our stuff upstairs in the room. in general, an excellent stay
