This was such an incredible stay. The staff went over and above to ensure we had an enjoyable visit. So much thought was put into the design of everything - from small things like the glassware to the decor, art, and views all whilst also preserving the history of the building. The vibe was upmarket without feeling elitist. We were celebrating a 25th birthday and the staff really made my friend feel very special. The breakfast offered as inclusive in the price of a stay was extremely worthwhile. There was lots of choice available and you order from a menu so not a buffet style which was much nicer (there were also alternative milks available for coffee! Oat/Almond/Soy). It is also very centrally located. 5/5 for this place - if I return I would love to stay here again.

Very lovely and attentive staff. Rooms were spacious and clean with one of the most beautiful views. Food is tasty, my favourite was the lunch menu. Small beach with pebbles right in front of the hotel. Location of the hotel is perfect: close to everything in town and the ferry port (6,7 min on foot).

Very little not to like. The main thing coming to mind is dinner: too pricey, too ambitious. And music: just horrible mix of electro, dance, metal etc. - and this during breakfast, lunch and dinner. At check out there was a rather awkward moment when we were asked whether we were not satisfied with the stay and we were quite puzzled. We got the feeling this question was asked because they expected more tips. Hope it was just a misunderstanding...

Staff, position, style and decor were good or excellent

Our room (202) had the extractor from the kitchen embedded in the wall in the room itself meaning there is a pretty loud and annoying rumbling all the time. You can actually feel the vibration if you put your ear to the wall! Presumably this affects room 102 in the same way. It is turned off between 11pm and 7am but on all the time apart from that. Not impressive for the money and the attention to detail on the rest of the offering.

- We liked the top location of the hotel in the city center - Historical building, unique room design with gorgeous interior - Outstanding breakfast: various, delicious, and the best of all was the sea view from the terrace in the morning - The staff was more than friendly, perfect service. We felt ourselves cared for, we felt at home. - Private beach with lounge-like sun beds - Parking for guests - Very clean

There was nothing we did not like.

The front desk staff were great. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The room itself was spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean. The hotel location to the beach is perfect. It's right behind the hotel. Plenty of free beach loungers for hotel guests. Beach towels are down in that area too. There's an abundance of restaurants around the hotel. The port is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel.

We had one complaint. Our tv was broken upon arrival (cracked screen). We notified the front desk immediately because we didn't want to be held responsible for it. It was immediately replaced, but the new tv was never properly programmed to show channels. We notified the staff, but they never fixed it.

wonderful little jewel in the hurt of Kos city. was indeed a very pleasant surprise. neoclassical building, originally built a century ago as townhouse for a local governor. recently renovated with extremely wonderful taste. the rooms are big and comfortable, the beds were superb. the hotel is located on the water with its own small beach. would definitely come back. important notice, as a proud father of 3 kids, it definitely not suitable for families with kids, teenagers. perfect for couples and solo travelers.

The hotel was superb, very authentic, staff were professional, warm, attentive and responsive- nothing was too much trouble. I have booked for next year I was so impressed

I liked all of it- there was no gym but this was not an issue we cycled to the sister hotel and staff there were just as receptive.

Absolutely pleased with our stay. The hotel was located very near the city centre, a short and pleasant walk to the best bars and restaurants in town. We especially liked the beach area which had very comfortable loungers and bar service with excellent cocktails. The staff helped us with recommendations and bookings for restaurants and arranged our transportation from the airport but also to our next hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay near the city centre.

Elegant interior and excellent facilities in a historic building with central location. Friendly and considerate staff - especially Chara, Irene, Charitomeni, Alexandra, and Giannis & the lady at the front desk. Thank you!

Old windows meant more noise from the street.
